In my experience in music, I know that being able to read music and understand theory has **** all influence on how well a musician can actually interpret and play. I didn't take formal lessons. I undertook a self-imposed study of the likes of Satriani and Vai, after I had already been playing for several years. Before then, I learnt by ear and from records, and even today I can score out music just by listening to it, and play it.
I'm not avoiding answering anything. I'd rather give up our spot in the Europa to Arsenal. It's a meaningless competition, made for a team that has no hope of ever winning it. And it will eat into your Prem form, meaning that we are more than likely to finish above you. Waiting for St Arsehole's Day to come along in the Europey, playing teams the equivalent of Wigan and Brentford, will be far more hilarious than waiting for St Arsehole's Day in the last 16 of the CL.
