    I know were you mean but can't for the life of me remember this pub. Maybe I've been in a few times too many & thats why I can't recall .

    If you had been in when a band was on you would remember it mate.
    Atmosphere was bloody brilliant, even **** bands could end up rocking the place.

    My mate always claimed he spoke to Geldorf in the 29.
    Think I was working away at the time though.

    They were revamping the whole area at the time.
    Most of the buildings were just say holding together.
    There was a Chinkys just down the road topper meals.
    Didn't bother me when they found all the dogs heads in its backyard.

    Aye, another good pub gone forever.

    Wonder how many have been lost to "redevelopment" up & down the country.

    Glasgow has lost some belters, so has Belfast since the soldiers were took off the streets after Good Friday agreement & they had lots of so called, "slum clearences" in the city.

    These places are gone for good & wont come back, crying shame.
