Better without the dragons and heavy fantasy elements.

The early GoT is better with just the hints of fantasy, not flaming dragons and stuff.

I think it was just better because the material was from the books. Once it passed the books it all went a bit ****ty.

I think that's a fair assessment on what I've seen halfway through. Worth watching but a step down.
