I saw Scorcese's film Silence last night. Don't waste your time <ok>

(just about 5/10 - probably means superb to gonzo!)

Watched "Criminal" last night....that's 2 hours I'll never get back...must have been made as tax bills came out when you look at the big cast for what should be a Movies for Men production lol

Tom Hardy is very one dimensional. He plays the moody, grunting ruffian most of the time. For example...

Warrior
Lawless
Batman Rises
The Drop
Mad Max
Legend (one half he did well, the other twin was the usual)
The Revenant

And nothing has changed in Taboo.

That's not to say he doesn't do it very well. In Bronson he's a bit like that but he was very good. Since then he's been cast in samey roles.
Hardy in a nutshell, you can add the grunting jew from peaky blinders to that list too

^^^^^^^ forgets "This Means War" where he plays a different, more comedic role. Arguably his finest work, think he won an Oscar. <whistle>

did anyone watch sherlock on here then?

I forgot to record it and end up with only half the episode. the reviews seem Topgearesque in their criticism and bbc seem to want to add online to actual viewers to boost the ratings.

I saw the second one but not the first and thought it only ok.
