Big Lebowski was 20th Century (1998), so isn't eligible. But on a favourite EVER movies list, it would certainly be in my top 5. 1. Star Wars - Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back 2. American History X 3. Downfall 4. Dawn of the Dead (The original) 5. The Big Lebowski
Love that film too. Very quirky, that was 2001. Dudley is one of the best characters in cinematic history.
Not many Wes Anderson films I don't like, Moonrise Kingdom was on that list and is a film many have missed, superb stuff.
My 5 favourite films in no particular order 1. Matrix 2. Zoolander 3. Shawshank redemption 4. Gladiator 5. Grave of the fireflies
I find this hard with films... 1. The Big Lebowski 2. Dazed and Confused 3. Rushmore 4. The Wolf of Wall Street 5. The Straight Story No order other than 1. is my fav.
Not sure if anyone else has watched it but on Sky at the moment is currently the second series of Zoo. It's basically a program where animals begin to evolve and try to take out the humans. You have to ignore the Americanness of it and the patchy acting, but the idea is good and the overall execution is good enough to make it a decent watch. It's one you'll either really get into or **** off after the first episode or two.
The Watchman ... C4 drama starring Stephen Graham as a CCTV operator who takes justice into his own hands ... just put it on, hopefully it's good
he's good and i enjoyed MK when i saw at cinemas but have to be in a particular mood to watch his films
Will give this series a proper plug tomorrow we all need to get on it or Netflix will pull it, £120M over budget and Netflix unsure if they are willing to fund it. Superb stuff about the rise of hip hop in the Bronx, harsh and real but with a soul and a tune attached.
For a long period of time I found the Netflix original stuff to blow most other series out of the water for creativity, originality and delivery. But then a few follow up seasons of programs I liked failed to live up to standard and I sort of looked elsewhere. I think the third season of orange is the new black was the point I felt disappointed enough to move away from Netflix lol. But I keep getting recommendations for some of the stuff on there so might re-activate my account....
Didn't watch The Wolf on Wall Street until quite recently, I can't stop watching it now. Excellent film, funny as ****. Di Caprio is quality in it.
