They need to leave all superhero movies alone for a decade.

It's been done to death tbf (the series). Having seen the way the superhero genre has developed I'm now of the opinion Superman is possibly the worst superhero/storyline to make into a series.

He's boring....virtually indestructible and virtually a saint...and yet if you go dark like they did...well he's no longer Superman is he?

Marvel will be able to keep going as their movies bar Deadpool are aimed at the kids and the series are all largely very human characters in dark and very adult world's.

Arrow is used up, Flash isn't much far behind so possibly squeeze a JL league series but not much more...

Having said that Marvel have planned:

    Films:
    Thor 3
    Guardians 2
    Avengers 3 and 4
    Captain Marvel
    Spiderman

    Series:
    Daredevil 3
    Jessica Jones 2
    Luke Cage 1
    Agents 5?
    Defenders 1

    Lol......

Most of the earth based Superman stories are dull, as you say he's virtually indestructible meaning all the Human villains or meta human villains are pretty useless against him. Where Superman gets interesting is the Kryton stuff and the other Aliens who he comes up against.

DC have tried to make their films too dark, in order to follow Nolan, but they don't have the execution of Nolan and have long dull parts of the films.
Marvel have got it right, the films are lighter and move along at a good pace.

Jessica Jones 1 was perhaps the worst drivel I've ever seen.

A Howard the Duck reboot would be preferable.

I didn't mind it but it's not daredevil and I really don't know what is going to be much different about a Cage series to the first two above..

The dad is top ... '**** on it' has become one of my most used swears

i also like the taller lanky blonde son character - great facial expressions

Mark Heap is also really good as the local weirdo

The last episode of the new series was awesome

Yesss!! I let my kids watch it tbh and "**** on it" is the only phrase with swearing I let them repeat.

Mark Heap is awesome. I'm now dedicating my Wilson avatar to his dog <laugh>

Just watched 'Into the Deep' 9/10 so much better than 'The Shallows' which I posted about yesterday.

Into the Deep is the best shark film I've seen for as long as I can remember. Really well made film, no stupidness. Great suspense, has you hooked, won't mention the twist. There's a great copy on Putlocker. Watch it!!

It reminds me of ET and The Goonies but with a bit of a spooky edge.
