    Martian was boring I thought.

Same with Revenent, good scenery but actual story line was meh.

I really like the slow cinematic epic type film when I'm in the mood. Really enjoyed The Martian, Ridley Scott has done a great job there IMO, built the sense of isolation well.

Started watching Fear The Walking Dead, not great so far it's a bit too slow. Will stick with it though.

Watched the jungle book last nigh. 9/10 really enjoyed that adaptation. Thought it was brilliantly done

I think the teaming up stuff is fanciful too. Game of Thrones has never worked like that, people have never rallied against the so called 'evil' side, even when it would've made sense to do so. People join forces with the side that offers them the most wealth, not the cause that is deemed most honourable.

If people think Littlefinger is going to help Jon Snow & the Wildlings without getting anything in return they are deluded. If they think the Greyjoy's will help the Starks regain their home, the same Starks who embarrassed their father by making him bend the knee, then they are also deluded. Remember what happened the last time the Stark family tried asking for help from the Greyjoy's & the Vale.

After introducing me to 'Dexter' and 'Breaking Bad' (both of which I enjoyed btw) my daughter made me watch the first two episodes of
'Walking dead' last night. <yikes> Meh,not overly impressed. Should I stick with it?

There will be no iron throne by the end imo. Isn't the throne made up of Valariyan Steel swords? If so, they'll need them to defeat the White Walkers.
I'm also thinking that the Night King is a Stark.

had a heavy friday so spent all day yesterday watching films and hating life.

X-men apocalypse - quite good, probably the best one so far imo. 7/10

Bad neighbours 2 - ok - same as before but with girls and less laughs - 4/10

Eddie the eagle - good watch, i was a kid back when this happened so dont remember much about him bar his name - good feel good film, the guy who plays eddie is very likeable, 8/10

Hardcore Henry - just dont, i appreciate the effort in trying something original (1st person) but frankly it was difficult not to feel dizzy from the camera work at times, and the less mentioned about the acting and characters in it the better - pish 3/10.

Barber shop the next cut - meh meh meh, ice cube has made a few crackers in his time, this not being one of them - its just a crappy rehash of the other barbershop films its only saving grace being that nikki minage's arse and tits are in it quite a lot. 5/10

Cap America - Civil war - its was probably a decent film but im so bored of the whole marvel thing now it was forgettable imo, no hulk or thor either, its ok, 6/10

Fear The Walking Dead, watched 2 of them now and I'm struggling. The characters are not likeable which is key to any show, I don't really care what happens to them. I'm thinking it might be intentional and that as the peril increases so will the type of people they are.
Anyone seen this? Is it worth sticking with?

Yeah bit of detail in it for sure.

Unexpected that immediacy where it's like nice and safe then bang, oh... no its not. Not at all.

It was a great twist that HODOR actually meant hold the door. Nice to see a Direwolf die by fighting/sacrificing itself for a Stark.

yes but its getting quite... well.. dull now.. they are utterly pointless mutts. oh just jump in there and get dead.. great.. whatever.. they are a bit pointless in the story at this time. the most crucial fact is 4 guys were seen as white walkers and another one died in there. How many white walkers are there? thats 3 we've seen topped now.

I didn't quite get the arya scene with the bully.. again.. you beat her blind but now you can't beat her.. again. whats that about. its more training, its moved on to her topping this one but why have the bully girl being unbeatable again. why not move it on from that?

I like the fact that sansa is already lying to jon so this grand stark everythings gonna be alright stuff is out the window. Sansa wants the throne.

The greyjoys was a bit... erm.. they took all the ships.. like how? a few too many ships for a few too little force i thought but anyway thats that. they need to find some place now.. I liked the drowning thing. they took their time with it so it was actually.. ok.. about 10 seconds ago i was like yeah yeha but oh wait.. ahhh ok you got me there.

But the big thing was the white walkers. nobody could have seen the immediacy of the actions coming. he was warging and we knew he was due to him standing but then 5 mins later he's being dragged out and everyone is dead!

It kind of blows and possibility the guy is going to grow a spine... perfect LFC mod now

oh and i forgot... hey point... the very little spoiler mentioned by sir davos.. "the legend" and river run. I think this will be first battle seen this year.
