There's no plans on a stand alone punisher series so I expect him to be in and out of daredevil frequently...
Do superheroes ever age and get over the hill? Batman is human right? Not some alien like superman or spiderbite mutant like Spider-Man. Technically Batman should get old? I want to see him struggle to get in the batmobile have him drive it at 20mph to the crime scene whilst robin screams at him "slow down you maniac you'll get us killed driving like that".
There has been a whole series of comic books where Batman is an older man and comes out of retirement, also the title Batman and many others (Green Lantern, Flash etc etc) have been passed down to younger characters, sons and prodigies etc Also there is a fairly famous Wolverine comic named 'Old Man Logan', which features an old Wolverine. I supposed Afflecks Batman is also supposed to be an older Batman, rather than a fresh origin Batman. But I guess age is something films will address the further they take the characters.
Barely. Whilst I enjoy Gotham, it is lacking something and its the Bruce Wayne story at the moment. Programme needs to move on from the Galavan story (not a fan of this current storyline) and get on with Bruce learning to be Batman. I guess we'll have to wait until the very end of the run until we get Batman, last episode will be the birth of Batman.
Well, it's not really about Batman though is it. It's about Commissioner Gordon. I agree on the Bruce Wayne part of the series though, it needs more. I thought it was superb at the end of the first season when they found the bat cave. Expected the second season to start with that but it didn't (only seen about four or five of season two, decided to leave it until it had finished)
Ended up recording all the original series of X Files on Spike. Fck me what a great series that was. Even the alien scripts were quality back then. Just saw the Squeeze episode. Class. The follow up Tooms was even better.
I tried to watch the originals again but just couldnt get into it like the 1st time, quality show in its day but when i tried again it just felt a bit dated
Just been catching up on my brooklyn 99. Man i forgot how funny this is. Watched the episode with boyle trying to get his sperm back. My favorite episode along with the 2nd halloween special. Also doug Judy is a legend
Yeh i agree there's an element of that. Maybe it's a bit of nostalgia with me. Plus I'm watching it with the kids who've never seen them. There are some standout episodes though. Tooms being one.
I'm at the point of binning Gotham. S2 started well with the Joker thing but it's gone very dull now, no real story and too many characters treading water. Unfortunately for the creators I think the real interest is in Bruce Wayne and Selina, try as they might to dodge around it the viewer wants to see them.
If you aren't watching Follow the Money on BBC 4 catch up on it, first two episodes aired last Saturday. Boss Scandi Nordic Noir from Denmark, end of the seat stuff. Opening titles are brilliant but the theme tune is a bit ****
Stunning television. I had a whopper of a night last night. Ep 6 of BCS (****ing stunning) and final ep of S2 of Daredevil (superb). What now....................................??
