It has potential, just needs a kick up the arse and some decent villains. Not feeling the guy from Twilight as the villain to be honest. Nor the Mad Aunt. Am hoping for some improvement as it goes on, but will keep watching. But yeah, definitely my least favourite of the Arrowverse series' so far.
No date for new Daredevil yet but The Punisher will be introduced during the new season, that should be good.
Found this................... Daredevil season 2 will debut on Netflix on March 18th, 2016, followed by Luke Cage season 1 later in 2016. Release dates for Iron Fist and The Defenders on Netflix have not yet been announced.
Linking it with The Flash is a half hearted attempt at giving it that kick. But yeah, generally agree with that The current series of the Flash is getting on my tits tbh. Bloody time travel and multiple worlds bullshit
I can see this DC/Marvel rivalry thing getting out of hand. They are flooding the TV and cinema with show after show, movie after movie, people are already getting sick of Superhero ****. I quite like it, as I have always been a Superman, X-men, Hulk fan, but I can certainly see why people would start getting pissed off with endless superhero ****e if they are not fans.
Time travel and Multiple world **** has always been a big part of DC canon, even in the comics. I prefer Marvel myself, its slightly less Cluster ****y, but DC is okay.
Until you hit the Days of Future Past and Age of Apocalypse stories that they are now doing with X-Men. I'm DC all day, more gritty and darker than Marvel but there again JJ and Daredevil work well. It looks like Netflix want the dark/serious stuff whereas Sky are going for the wider audience and keeping it suitable for kids.
Some good additions to Netflix recently, Once Upon a Time in America, Natural Born Killers and Sin City. All good films.
Hulk could be really dark and interesting, the last one was pretty good. The first which was a Hulk/Shrek crossover was terrible though. Would love a really good Hulk film, a 3 hour one off dark and moody with a scary Hulk.
Agreed. I liked Mark Ruffalo as Banner in the Avengers films too, and wonder why he hasn't been given a movie of his own.
fair point.. I've said this for over a year.. there is far far far too many now. There are a grade super heros and z listers in the comic world and in TV world its just the same. If you do smallville you are doing superman... if you do the flash or supergirl etc you are z lister period. I don't mind at all there being a superman, a spiderman or a batman... or x men. BUt... these are cartoons form childhood... not adult tv series to be taking up my... if lucky.. 1 or 2 hours tv in a night...
I like The Flash, I used to watch the 1990's series with John Wesley Shipp as the Flash (he plays Barrys dad in this show) and Mark Hamill as the Trickster (who reprised his role for this series). What is it with casting actors who formally played that superhero as the Superhero's parent? In Supergirl her Earth parents are played by Dean Cain and Helen Slater, who portayed Superman and Supergirl in the Lois & Clark series and the 1984 Supergirl movie respectively.
