There gonna be some ****ed up things happening this season in GoT, especially at Winterfell and the Wall. Should be fun. Watched half of the new Flash episode yesterday but feel asleep about 20 minutes in, not because it was bad, but because I started watching at 1am Not sure about this whole Grodd thing!
Aye I am thinking the same thing. I know Grodd is a traditional Flash villain from the comics, but still, what works on paper doesn't always work on TV. The CG wasn't too bad, but I noticed that Grodd's scenes were all in the sewer and very badly lit.
Its been excellent so far, am majorly impressed. Not particularly a Flash fan or a DC Comics man at all (I'm a Marvel man), but The Flash has been really, really good. Just hoping this Grodd thing doesn't take it down a silly path. Oh and Iris!! please log in to view this image
there always is though.... its an awful lot of advertising for month in advanced for a single one hour show though... so far is it 4 episodes of set up and really faff all to write home about.
When Tyrion and Jorah reach Mereen, and when Sansa and Ramsey tie the knot......both of which will happen in the next 2 episodes, things will start to come good, dont worry!
It'll be over by then! anyway. what do we know 1. dragon lady will be a focus point. We've seen two of her crew downed by the harpies and the unsullied hold survive bt the old fella has to have died. ergo now there's a gap for tyrion to take over. After that though it becomes yet another... lets block the bottle blonde going to westeros for yet more time. 2. Jamie lanaster is heaed for a reckoning of some sort. either he learned to fight or he dies.. As i've not read books I don't know but it just feels like a diversion to remove him for a period so the boy king can **** up... 3. Winterfell will in the end be probably the main change again. the deballed one might eventually wake up and do something i suppose but i expect more tears from sansa which has been done and will be boring IMO. I expect some set piece battle at winterfell eventually and the only question is how jon snow gets involved in it. 4. Finally the ugly one might trun in as well. she's kind of utterly pointless at this point so she will end up at winterfell just as set piece occurs. 5. I don't expect much form the pudgy kid this season 6. the youngest stark lad hasn't even turned in yet. so... all in all.... not very much climactic stuff here. Season 1 obviously had a kingdom falling apart and the stark execution. Season 2 had blackwater season 3 had red wedding no? , season 4 had the resolution of the wall and the threat from the north which was meant to be cataclysmic and the death of the king and the killing of the main lannister power each season set up something for future but after 5 years set up blondie is just in need of a dagger in the eye for the sake of the TV show itself. sansa stark is a sad case as despite a breif look at her being more powerful she's reverted to earlier annoying type. Perhaps she'll just stab bolton in the ball sack wh othe f knows. So far season 5 seems just about setting up season 6 where we'd hope we see vengeance coming in the form of the faceless, the long awaited invasion from blondie, the resolution of the north issue and some movement towards Jon snow being the real son of robert targarian and so end up rival to stanis as king.
The problem is the producers have to slow down, they're running out of material until Martin finally finishes the next book. So expect more detailed and slower episodes for at least the next 2 series.
Yes this would seem to be the case but in the end their casts get older and fatter in the case of the younger stark girl. Ideally this would have been a.... what 5 season epic show but as they started it before he finihsed the series they've run into this. I mean if this were not novel based would you accept the following Daenerys stormborn 1. sold by brother into savage hands. ends up ruling as thier queen and killing brother and supposedly marching on westeros. 2. whole army vanishes utterly when Khal Drogo manages to get blood poisoning fight some no name and dies. black magic turns her unborn into dragons. 3. spends time wandering about trying to survive 4. ends up buying an army with no money. using it to take over slaver's bay. end up in charge 5. decides to stay put rather than attack weakest westeros in ages. 6. continues to stay and get embroiled in rebellion. despite lannisters ebing down to nothing it seems. if there were no book 5 years on would you accept this as a tv plot line... no not on its own. she should have got it by now. Rob stark got it for two mistakes. first marrying wrong bird and second beheading the guy who supported him.
I've not been saying anything about them as I know I'm ahead of the TV. PS...if you look at the episode title, Grodd's involvement is fairly bloody obvious too
