Same. Most people thought that. Low budget south african film which actually was pretty damn good!

Yep, that was a great film, although I thought it lost the plot a bit towards the end. It started out so great and then couldn't resist turning into a fairly standard action film once they got the fluid back to the command module. It all seemed a bit contrived towards the end and it got quite difficult to suspend disbelief, but then that's the case with most modern sci fi films imo.

Apparently the sequel will actually be a prequel, which could be quite cool. I'd like to see why the prawns were willing to get dumped in a camp when they could have easily conquered the Saffas with their uber weapons.

I dont see if as a sci fi film really.. I think the whole film is very clever being set in SAF where aparthied was started.

That to me is the biggest problem with the film - it tries really hard to be a social commentary, but just can't resist diving off into contrived scifi at the end. I also thought they fact the film portrayed all the black characters as gangsters and cannibals detracted a lot from the apartheid references.

Still a good film, but could have been so much better imo.

Well Megaupload's founders have just been extradited by the US for copyright violation so the other sites are obviously getting wary.

    Damn Yankee internet imperialism...

Hey, loads of us are fighting it and signing petitions. I get the concept is good, I mean you are technically stealing but the ways they want to do it give them too much control and take away too much freedom. We shall see, apparently Obama is against the acts........... he uses the sites to watch his bulls hehehe.
