Watched ep 1 Flash - looks good. Still putting off watching ep 3 of Gotham, does it get better as it goes along?

 

Gotham is watchable, but not brilliant.

 

I watched the first 2 eps but wasn't impressed, thought it might just be warming up, Heroes was like that if I remember correctly.

 

Nother great ep of them Peaky Blinders last night, finale will be vicious but who will survive??

 

Its problem is that it's a hero series, without a hero, and alot of the Villains and Jim Gordon need Batman.

What we're getting is a cop show about mob corruption, which people have seen before. The programme needs a proper hero.

On the whole its good(ish) but the writing will really need to step up, plus I don't see how they are really going to progress the story without Batman. Everything is already pretty much in place at the point where Batman is supposed to enter the story.

 

Trouble is Batman is only 12 at the moment. They will either have to whizz through the storyline, or have 6,000 episodes! to get Batman in

 

I've binned Gotham just not good enough.

 

Anyone been watching legends?

I've been enjoying it.

Also watched fury at the cinema was very good.

 

Is that similar to or follow at all inglorious batards?

 

Looking forward to Fury, looks great. No haven't seen Legends.

 

It's goof. Not as good as 24 or such like. But watchable

Haha have downloaded the IOS update. Not only does it try and predict words also while sentences.

It is very goof yes. Sean bean is exceedingly wooden as you'd expect though it has got a fit bird from heroes in it. Ali larter.

Watched the first 2 episodes and thought it was good.

Put it on hold though - as I ripped through the first series of The Blacklist. The Blacklist is very easy to get into. and on a very rare occasion me and the Mrs actually both enjoy it.

Series 2 is on now of The Blaclist, so I'm Sky+ing it and probably go back to Legends


For anyone wanting a decent seies to watch 'The Blacklist' is well worth a go - It's on-demand, or you'll find it somewhere

 

For those that haven't seen The Wire it is the best show ever made in my opinion. Absuletely 10/10.

Started to watch it slowly a month or two back. Jusr catch an episode every so often. Really good as you say but missus doesnt like it so cant power through it.

Good having something to watch when im home alone though.

 

As opposed to "Swedish night nurses on dope", as usual you mean.

 

That's what I'm currently doing with Boardwalk Empire - The Mrs can't stand it, but I love it. So if she's out or has an early night I always get a couple of episodes in



You have to watch The Wire from the first episode all the way through - It was/is the only TV show that at the end I was honestly gobsmacked at how good it was, I was in shock for a few days. It really is THAT good. Trust me and watch it from start to finish
