what channel is true detective on. I have heard about this and need soem sort of non vampire, werewolf, zombie show to watch.
It's finished now - It was on Sky Atlantic (I think) about 2 months back. Not sure where you'll get a download from, but I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction.

Yeah it's finished - I think it was like 8 episodes only. I saw the boxset in ASDA yesterday for £29.99 Amazing show though. HBO at it's finest.
hmmmmm 29.99 for any box set is scandalous as it may or may not be on sky catch up. it may also be on netflix sometime so the free month of that means anyone trying to sell a box set of 8 shows that expensive are nuts.
if i could yeah. my main thing really is convenience... i like the big tv, turn no, no fuss. though i have to confess we were so..... so f'n sick of the following which we only picked up in series 2 and how terrible it was that convenience isn't all that unless you've some choice.
So but an external hardrive 2TB will do and cost about £30. Download what you want add it to the harddrive and plug it into your TV.
I have a HDMI cable going straight from my Graphics card in my PC to my TV. So I can play something on the computer and switch my TV over to the HDMI feed and watch shows/films on my TV.
I was going to do so as well but found that cbales were messy. I have a lsot under my TV for a PC with HMDI but need to buy one to do it as the home pc is for everyone and sits seperately the cost of football makes streaming this way fine as its only me.
Not at all, it's getting more difficult to get DVD rips it's a Blue Ray Rips all the way and they look great on the big screen. The really good people who put these copies out there are very good and there's very little difference in quality to a dvd or even a blue ray disc.
I used to do it this way but once I bought the hard drive it gave me the option of watching what I download in other rooms easily so I just unplugged the laptop from the TV and just use the hard drive now, as long as the tv supports it then great got my whole library now on the one little box.
