No. But I do remember someone on here saying it was very good. But I've not seen it or heard much about it other than that. Got an 8.3 which is very respectable on IMDB - must be worth a watch?
Justified looks similar to Banshee and has a higher rating its based on some novels so should have a solid story.
The Wire is probably my favourite show ever, though Game of Thrones is making a case for that position too. Boardwalk Empire is also very good (HBO rule). I like the Walking Dead, but those type of network shows generally arent in the same league as HBO or Showtime Productions. There are some good actors in the Walking Dead (Andrew Lincoln, David Morrissey, Scott Wilson), plus it has Lauren Cohan But the story arcs and pacing, like all those types of shows (Prison Break, Heroes, 24, Arrow) suffers because they try to do too many episodes. With a 16-22 episode season, you usually find that the first seasons are generally pretty good because they have all the time in the world to write them. Then after that they have a couple months to write 22 episodes of coherent television and it can sometimes be messy. The best examples of this are Heroes and 24. Both had awesome first seasons then became a shower of s**t. The Walking Dead is still the best Non subscriber channel show (Now that Breaking Bad is finished anyway)
Also, have to say, Showtime (The producers behind Homeland) also do the US version of Shameless.# Now I know what you are thinking bleh US remakes!! (The Office and Inbetweeners remakes were terrible). But seriously, the US shameless pisses on the UK version from a HUUUUUUUGE height. William H Macy as Frank Gallagher, Joan Cusack as Sheila Jackson, Emmy Rossum as Fiona (this woman is one of the best actors on the planet right now, and Hot to boot). The first season copies alot of the UK Shameless' early scripts, which may be jarring if you have seen the UK Shameless and remember the earlier episodes, but after the first season it comes in to its own and boy does it own.....
I downloaded season one last night. Will give it a go once I've finished Walking Dead, only got six episodes left already
OK. I'm up to date with GOT this week. I've seen all of Breaking Bad. What else can I catch up on? I haven't seen the latest series of Walking Dead yet, where can I stream this?
She is lovely. I'm pretty sure she gets her clothes off in Van Wilder 2. Just watched first episode of Season 4. Gonna watch it all day with this **** weather.
Firstly 'The Wire' is by far the best show that's been shown - GoT is so hard to campare as they couldn't be more different if they tried, but I agree it's very good in it's on rights. Plus the recent 'True Detective' (also HBO) was very good. Boardwalk empire, The Soprano's - All HBO. HBO have this **** on lockdown. Personally, if it's not HBO I have serious doubts from the beginning, and to be honest usually give it a wide birth. HBO BABY
I watched 'Meet The Parents' last night with the Mrs (haven't seen it in years) Funny film, I don't rate all the other ones but the first one is class.
Great double header on ITV4 last night. Kelly's Heros followed by John Carpenter's The Thing. Quality
