    Both high quality films <ok>

i watched some that were new to me on my **** week off. Broken City (good). Drag Me to Hell (Sam Raimi, excellent). Take My Soul (or something similar (standard slasher). The Tourist (highly enjoyable).

Was a bit disappointed with Django..

was just standard blood an guts tarrantino.

Life of Pi was weird. as it leaves you questioning what was actually real..

Don't agree on Django. The KKK scene on it's own made the film worthwhile. ****ing priceless <laugh>

totally agree on both counts. Django far overated but made good by schultz's performance.

I've been shot down for suggesting this, glad someone agrees.

Watched Welcome to the Punch last night, good film far better than the 6.1 rating on IMDB.

I watched The Raid the other night, loved the low key gritty production, and the martial art fighting choregraphy was far better than any larger budgeted films of that genre.

We watched Django the other night, bot of us thought it was about par for a QT film - his unmistakeable trademark was slapped all over it

Compared to Pulp Fiction it's just not at that standard but then compared to some of his recent films it's a lot better.

Will "Man of Steel" live up to the hype? I bloody hope so!

Saw Haywire last night, typical Soderbergh movie, worth a watch.
Didn't catch it at the movies but saw in on telly but "The Descendents" bloody good movie that!
