the third one was best. the fourth one was terrible cgi (for era) and Kate Beckinsale was atrocious as villain. all you need is humour, high jinx, nazis and a treasure no need for heavy cgi. the third one got away with some tragic cgi due to the timing of its release. the aircraft in it were hilariously bad on modern viewing
I think the third is most people's favourite but I preferred the first two. (Unless it was just I was younger when I watched the first two so felt fresher). Bad CGI is on point. I hate bad cgi. I don't think the fourth was the best for numerous reasons, but I still enjoyed it. A lot of people hated crystal skull because it had aliens, which is something I find odd... People are ok with supernatural boxes and the holy spirit killing Nazis, a priest who can rip out a heart without breaking the skin... And immortal knights in a cave... But aliens, the only actual mcguffin that is technically possible (if very unlikely) is where some people draw the line?
it wasn't the aliens imo. it's the awful Russian accent, awful stunts, crap son and just rank bad writing. the truck on the tree ffs. I dont particularly like temple of doom but the stunts were good. the mine carts and such. the crystal skull was utter crap from start to finish really. this one has got to be done well.
yes it is, I just like the 3rd one more with Sean connery and the whole tank bit. raiders is great though
I started and thought it a bit over hyped, it was decent but didn't hold my attention. Watched about 3 episodes. Might try again sometimes now that it's coming to an end.
Yes Essentially instead of doing another series they've made a movie to finish it off. Called 'Seven Kings Must Die'
excellent. it's out is it? I did enjoy the series even it is did rather meander through English history there.
