politically he is all over the map. I mean he is more reflective of real.people than many. for example. he was on the eu side of brexit but wants to stone Megan markle. yet he would be described as a libertarian (less regulation) and in favour of personal freedom. most though he's a pure wind up merchant who would love to get under a few woke lefties skins.
OK, I've seen "White Noise" listed a few times on movies to watch. I'm going to put it in the "weird movie not worth watching pile". There are good weird movies and bad ones. This is the latter. @luvgonzo will like it.
OK, here's a film I just learnt about: It's like a real life springtime for Hitler, but in this case unintentionally bad. "Dear Friend Hitler" came out of Bollywood a decade ago, it's about a friendship via letters between Hitler and Gandhi... Complete with musical numbers... All the scenes are filmed in the Himalayas, even scenes supposed to be in Europe. Hitler is played by an Indian and all his aryan soldiers are too... It is supposed to be a serious movie but hard to watch without laughing at how bad it is, apparently.
'Elvis' Weird film, its less of a story and more of a montage of Elvis' life without any actual depth to anything. It just seems to go from one thing to the next to the next to the next and so on. Its like a 2hr 30min trailer for another film, another film that doesn't exist. Also the use of modern music seems an odd choice, considering its a film about possibly the most famous singer ever with a huge back catalogue.
Someone suggested Nocebo on Netflix as a good film with an unexpected twist. The storyline was so obvious and predictable I suspect the person who recommended it had an IQ of less than 30 and did not get out much 4/10
First season is good but ending a little let down second season is better, I really liked it. third. Well super hero stuff.
Another bad movie:. "we have a ghost". Should stop watching movies the family want to watch. Just bad acting and/or producing. Beginning to think all new movies are.bad.
I'm unsure when it happened but every new film/TV series I watch, about 20 minutes in all I can think is I'm sure ive seen this. They all seem like remakes, or a rehash of something I watched years ago.
I do that all the time. The Mrs (nm) usually claims we've already watched it too; despite it only being released a couple of months before Rarely watch movies nowadays though; as you say, same story concepts all the time.
every cop show is largely the same every medical show is largely the same (few impalings, few rleati9nships. Rinse l, repeat) every lawyer show is the same every fire station shwo is the same every zombie show... well get the gist. Once youve seen breaking bad, the west wing and a few others that define a genre there's little more to add?
I couldn't get through breaking bad, tried very hard, but it reminded me of scooby doo. Incredibly formulaic. They get themselves into a stupid situation, either an odd mistake or Jesse is it? doing something ridiculous. The dad from malcolm in the middle does something sciency to get them out of it. Rinse and repeat every episode. I'm sure with all the furore surrounding it, there's more to it, but I end up finding it a slog.
Its of its time almost. Its original. You've a teacher to becomes a drug dealer, nobody did it before. The first 3 seasons were funnier and just orignal. that's what I mean.
I wasn't having a pop, just struggled with breaking bad. The west wing on the other hand was absolutely fantastic. I've just checked 1999 it came out sweet jesus.
