Finished Night Sky on Prime.8 episodes in all ,decent enough but a bit slow which seems to have led to the lack of viewers so it's been binned.Shame really because it has the makings of a good series if they'd have had more action in it and sooner.

God, I hope that Aaron Taylor Whatever guy doesn't become next Bond. He gives off more the vibes of a sleazy desperate lounge lizard than a man of mystery.

    I don't see it either.

    They went

Sean Connery (1962–1967, 1971 and 1983) (definition of bond in many minds from early movies, later ones were old man)
David Niven (1967) (doesn't really count)
    George Lazenby (1969) (camp bond)
    Roger Moore (1973-1985) (camper bond)
    Timothy Dalton (1987-1989) (darker bond)
Pierce Brosnan (1995-2002) (suave, moore replacement, more for well spokem man and tuxedo look)
Daniel Craig (2006-2021) (more of a chisled grunt look, like an actual sas imagines rugby bugger)

I'd have thought at this point they want a proper spy given there now at least 10 years of the russian bogey man to exploit now. cold war again.

I don't see a stone cold killer, not a spy, not a suave womaniser. frankly i see a non entity. I think the miage above has taken brosnan shot and given the guy more hair than he has available.

anyway..... 90 of the time the press run wild and get it wrong on bonds. I'm sure craig was not favourite way back when.

I'd like to see Tom Huddleston as the next Bond if it's not going to be Tom Hardy.

Most of the front runners this go round, I've thought "OK, I can see it" even if not my favourite, but this new guy... He's the only one that makes me really go "eck, heck no!"

I think they need to flip it personally.

They started in quite early with Craig as a "veteran"

While the whole kingsman movie was training a kid and too far (and too silly), well surely bond being recuited by mi5 out of the sas or what have you would be a good first movie rather than rinse and repeat.

Pick him up in Syria for example after working with Kurds and then move into following up on Russian aggression there by moving to europe

Hard to say since they're doing it one at a time, so we've only had one.
And so far its just been setting up the story which is much like alot of other post-apocalyptic series
