Tried Ozark? Not as good as BCS and everything filmed in an annoying blue filter... But other than that, it's a pretty good series.
So half way through season1 of house of dragons My opinions so far: 1. Plodding. We are about 5 years in this show now. 2. Weak characters. King is weak, daemon is weak as villain, houses are snotty and weak, princess is weak. 3. Nobody to "root for". Not one stands out as the starks did. 4. Action was weak. I have to say at this point I am just getting through it not looming forward to it in any way
So in otherwords, not worth getting a month of HBO for me to watch it. It's the problem when new authors try to write in someone else's universe, they rarely get it right.
Well its at a point now that it either explodes into action or flops so only time will tell. I'd wait for full series to be out before stumping.
Wheel of time season 2 apparently been ready for release for a few months now, but sounds like not going to release it while LOTR is on. Season one was pretty meh, took three or four episodes to get worthwhile. Will watch season two but not expecting anything great.
