Have saved obi wan for tonight. Has been good so far but it is a fan thing imo.

Did go to see top gun in cinema after all and have to say ripping good yarn but... a little iron Eagle at the end. Very excellent flying, a lot of hammy acting on the ground but the young guns. Almost just stereotypes for cruise to play off.

 

The Boys season 3. 4 episodes in its as good as ever

 

Seen its out but not started watching yet

 

Finished Flight Attendant. First season was great. Wasn't expecting much for the second season after watching s2e1, seemed a bit "samey" but it turned out decent still.

 

Is that like Fight Attendant, but more down to earth?

Cinema time with the youngest and mrs (nm)...

Youngest doesn't know yet, sat waiting for it to start and he keeps asking me what film we're going to be watching. He's going to be ridiculously excited when Jurassic World comes on!

 

Well I watched the episode 4 of obi wan.

I have to come to the conclusion that there's holes you could drive a bus through when it comes to plot but it's all about mcgregor.

It's a little disappointing that is so obviously poor in terms of complete lack of logic and tieing down thr things happening.

One example.

Obi wan sends the officer and leah child down the escape line tunnel and goes off to have his "encounter" with darth vadar that is clearly the thing solely on the mind of the Disney creators.

The thing is though.. leah says to the officer that she has to go back and help and she does. Right... but the show has the inquisitor finding the entrance to the tunnel and following it.

Somehow first the officer never encounters the inquisitor in the tunnel and second lead despite running through said tunnel is somehow beaten to the end where the inquisitor is stood waiting for her having killed the next contact on the escape route.

in this one we get this visit to the base of the sith lord vadar who is apparently not home. Its not brilliant but the intent seems to be to show obi wan regaining his former confidence. The three walk through half the base with obi wan looking like rolf Harris with a kid in his trench coat. That's bad enough but they are caught and make no signal but amazingly two rebellion speeder pop from nowhere and shoot everyone up allowing them to board one while one hovers in the inquisitors face and blasts away at her while she blocks with here red lightsaber.

I can accept some of the it was the plan that was allided to earlier but the timing is toomuch

OK so I've never seen the boys thingy on amazon but episode 1 and I'm sold. Brilliantly graphic

 

It's very good but might be worth waiting to binge

 

I'm on season 1 never heard of it so I've the full season 1 and 2 to look through.

 

And probably season three by the time you've watched them; already four episodes of the eight released. However, their will be a fourth season.

 

Amazon prime. Secrets and Lies (Aussie version) excellent , keeps you guessing.

 

New series of Murder In The Building on Disney, first series was a good watch.
