Watched the first of the new season of The Crown, excellent as always.

 

Polished it off in a day a half.

Good, but..... see below

Spoiler: The Crown

Think they spent way too much time on C&D. There are only a certain amount of times we could be told just how mis-matched they were.
However Emma Corrin is a real find, in more than just her acting, far more attractive than Diana ever was.

Because of the above it feels like the other 'characters' are pushed into the background, which after they've been the focus for the past 3 series feels alittle odd.

Thatcher, comes off too well (too human). The woman was vile and destroyed lives, communities, industries and most of Northern England and yet any of that is hardly mentioned. In fact there are only two episodes where Thatchers brutal policies are focused on and in one of those the man, Michael Fagan, who is on the hard end of it, is shown to be a bit of a waster.
Nothing to do with Anderson portrayal, but rather the way it is written

Abit of a soft approach to a horrible woman

 

Not really a tv show, but everyone seen the uproar about the new Sainsbury’s tv advert? Some people going mental because it’s focussed on a black family

People saying they’re gonna boycott them because it doesn’t represent them... in other words, racist white people are upset

 

Couldn't make it up.

 

I'm on episode 3 very much enjoying it so far. They are very much focusing on Charles and Di so far which I suppose is understandable and I like they way they are protraying the impending doom with little musical touches.
Coleman much better as the Queen in this one, too understated in the first.

Anybody got PS 4 with VR? Missus is talking about buying it but I'm not savvy at all about it,Is it any good and is it worth getting?

 

Heard its good but not much choice in terms of games. Got the eldest one for Christmas so been looking...

 

Fallout 4 works with it, gotta be good.
