I remember when my dad was out of work in the early 70's - used to dread Fridays as that was when we had to be quiet and hide in the kitchen when he came around for his money. ****er tricked us and came around one Sunday afternoon when were having sunday dinner.     @luvgonzo an update on my The Wire travails .

    Been gradually ( wife controls remote unless footy is on ) working my way through the series and as halfway thru series 3 i kicked off the the download of the next series . Checked last night and yep all downloaded fine and then suddenly something registered . Downloaded list goes S 3 11/12 , S 3 12/12 , S5 1/12 .
    Only those useless ****ers at Sky could have a box set of series 1,2,3,5 <doh>
    So when i've finished series 3 can you let me know whats happens in 4 then i xan watch 5 <laugh>

    Bloody hell, ring Sky and ask them for a Sky Q box for free. You won't have a multi room box because that costs money but the Q box is free if you kick off a bit about your old box.
    You should find the Wire under box sets on your box or search for it and find out that way.

    i can find the Wire in box sets but 1 series went missing . I'll check tonight as i have to wait till Mrs Solid has gone to bed before i start running cables cross he room .
