Still worth watching season 1 as it can be viewed as a one off but don't bother with season 2 unless they bring it back.
Another thing with Netflix, what's with the huge amount of foreign language content, is fine crazy with it?
I thought that yesterday when trying to find a film to watch, hell of a lot of Asian sub titled films.
Totally agree. Amazon pisses all over Netflix, I used to hate Amazon compared to Netflix but they've improved so much and have overtook now imo. The only thing Netflix does better is have a much easier menu system, Amazon's is confusing as **** in comparison for some reason.
I think in about 3-4 years unless Nefflix does something amazing they'll be gone or bought out. They've had little competition thus far, one real big player in Amazon coming in a few years later, but by the end of the year they'll be two huge players in Apple and Disney who can rely on other revenue streams to out perform Netflix. Also with Netflix having a pattern of cancelling shows after 2 series, writers and producers will stop approaching them and look towards the others.
Currently watching Law and Order svu....Mariska Hargitay (Jayne Mansfield's daughter) ....very easy on the eye. please log in to view this image the shell gas station near me
Anyone been watching 'Warrior'? Made by the same people who did Banshee, so basically its tits and violence
I'd look at that a few times but kept giving it a miss. Might have to reconsider that now you've provided me with this decisive information
Yeah, it's a masterpiece Watched A Quiet Place last night. Interesting concept and a strong performance from Emily Blunt, but ending somewhat predictable. Worth a watch. 7/10.
Started Power season 4 it gets better as it goes on S1 & 2 are good but not great but S3 and the start of 4 up the game, overall very good so far 8.5/10
Watching love death and robots. Pretty weird. Lots of very short episodes (10-20) mins of short stories similar to black mirror which ive only seen 2 eps of. Enjoying it.
I suppose TV ads count for this thread. Two ads have been banned due to contravention of new gender stereotyping rules, which aim to stop “limiting how people see themselves and how others see them and the life decisions they take." Nurture vs nature, sort of thing. If you're raised to think you're useless, chances are you'll believe you're useless and it'll be more of a fight for you to believe you're not. In a Philadelphia Cheese ad, two men are looking after babies at a restaurant with a conveyor belt. They're so useless and incompetent at child care that the babies are whisked off by the conveyor belt. Because men are useless at childcare - it's so gay, right? - and that's hilarious, so sells cheese. Owners of Philadelphia, Mondelez claimed it was in a no-win situation, because it specifically avoided having mums in the child-rearing role, so chose two dads. Stereotypical useless dads who can't look after kids without hilariously endangering their lives but still, no-win situation, obviously Feminism is just another word for hypocrisy, something something so unfair, we can't win, men can't even flirt anymore, etc etc. In another ad, Volkswagen showed a man and a woman in a tent on a sheer cliff face where the male was being active and the woman was sleeping, two male astronauts did astronaut stuff, a male para-athlete was athletic and a woman sat on a bench next to a pram. A slogan stated, “When we learn to adapt we can achieve anything.” Obviously, men learning to adapt to raise kids without endangering them or just sitting on a park bench doing nothing wasn't a win situation and doesn't sell cheese or cars.
