Aya will kill Danny. Bran will rule the seven kingdoms. Jon will go back to the north and marry Sansa. I will find something else to watch.
If they cut to a scene back up at winterfell and he has frozen to death on his wheelchair because no one moved him back in I would class GOT as one of the best shows in existence.
Maybe have The wolf everyone's so worried about that some undead zombie ripped off an ear sitting at his frozen chicken legs also dead?
I jokingly suggested this as an ending a while ago... would be hilarious if it happened. Proper flash back to old school days where you had to write stories and couldn’t think of an ending so just said it was all a dream
I reckon they'll start with tyrion. Arrested for treason for letting out Jamie. That'll be a slow burner if you forgive the pun. They've a full hour and a half to fill so I've no clue how they'll do it. Arya v Jon for the killing of deanrys must fill some of it. I would presume Jon has another incestuous clinch cos they keep leaving them alone together and he kills her As to the rest as said above there's **** all left but I can see history repeating. Ned stark refused it, so I would presume Jon snow will do so. Who the Robert baratheon equivalent is I don't know... surely not gendry. All the loose ends are at winterfell so having a trip down the kings road might take another bit of the show up. There could be some suspense as all the Starks are summoned by the mad queen I guess, that'd be terribly convienent way to get all together. No.. this feels like they've got the timings wrong. For me anyway
The Virtues Ep 1 Superb right from the off, bleak as **** almost painful to watch Graham as a man desperately trying to throw himself off a cliff as something inside holds him back because there are answers needed that are more important than the solace he craves.
@luvgonzo Was really good, but massively dark as you'd expect from Shane Meadows. I liked how he's tried to approach the story with a different style ... some of his films and TIE I thought were of the same sort of approach, good of course, but similar ... this one still retains elements of those but overall feels quite different, I loved that whole sequence from the pub into the POV shot as he's getting wasted. The flashbacks were very unsettling and weird ... I presume the character has been through some kind of abuse during childhood in Ireland, either the church or at home, that's what I felt those were pushing me to read
Yeah it was super dark but compelling stuff. https://www.theguardian.com/film/20...s-interview-the-virtues-stephen-graham-trauma I suppose the above is a spoiler of sorts.
@lfcpower From a style point of view Meadows has built a career on the dialogue and his films and TV usually have a lot of interaction between the characters, this is still Meadows but with a different approach where there are moments of reflection with nothing really happening but he is still somehow telling you so much. The opening scene is a a great example as Graham's character sits in the van paying no attention to his mate and then going to his home in a grubby estate, it builds an easy to follow picture of this man and the sad life he lives, you then have the long walk to a home that is no longer his and the family he has lost. Why Meadows isn't a huge character in the film industry is beyond my understanding I find his work captivating.
Watched the 2 Chernobel epsisodes last night. Very good so far. Don't know much about the real accident tbh but going by this it was just awful the way it was handled. Good show so far.
