somethings bound to have been prophesied in the show already. people are hunting like mad for eye colours charts Will arya stab deanerys in the back... Why was danny's eyes purple in the books but not in show etc etc. I think there'll be some other little conversation thats buried in a prior series that will be... oh yeah.. **** how did we miss that ****. I would have to agree that its almost certain that jon's walking away or dead by end of this last episode. theres a certain build up which could be misdirection of greyworm v jon as a big fight. drogon might betray danny... or fulfill danny's statement to sansa.. what do dragons eat anyway... anything they like... in the end the trailer gives us a shot of what is an overwhelming danny force. Jn is going to be at her mercy at the start of this show. What happens next is anyones guess
apparently there is outcry that game of thrones is not diverse or inclusive as they lopped the head off missande
even worse. apparently gingers like thormond don't count either. neither do dornish or dolthraki. GoT is virtually the KKK it seems. Yet... amazingly everyone dying is white bar poor hot Melisande.
no cos they are no "main characters" you have to be the main character to count which in itself is hardly "inclusive" Lets look at the Westeros make up. White north White middle Sort of coloured south in Dorn Half of essos seems to be different skin colours. Certainly this suggests at some level that westeros is deeply racist to some. Lannisters -= blondes. ..even though cercei is red hair... and tyrion is dark haired Starks. white trash.. northern.. like they are form newcastle Free folk. scottish sweatys. Riverlands... west country yokels Highgarden area... snobs.. surrey and the like. Crown lands.. like london but mainly white... million in kings landing but very few of colour dorn... julian bashir was in charge pretending to be not white. Then the others were i dunno what. not reall an equivilant in the uk. but i suppose they are like spanish where we take our hols. Lets not forget our pirate friends who are quite west and mid to north. again... not at all diverse. Varis white tyrion white littlefinger white all lannisters white ermm... targaryns all white with blonde hair and purple eyes in books then theres mormonts.. .white.. red witch.. white. the guy what trained arya... white... baratheons all white. cleganes. white. tarlys.. white everyone on the wall... white the night king.. white (was in dream) all the maesters in old town and all the protagonists in kings landing... white. Freys... white... etc etc. The reality is the fminists and D&I crews are quite whiney really.
Heres what happens next Dany will do something crazy, maybe Arya tries to kill her but gets caught. Dany sentences her to death. Jon is forced to kill Dany, ala Azor Ahai and Nyssa Nyssa Jon is forced to become King Jon is the TPTWP Sansa become queen makes no sense. a) she's not there b) She has no claim, there are about 4 other people who have a better claim. Jon, Gendry, Tyrion even Titty sucker Robin has a better claim. Arya killing Dany would be a kick in the teeth, first she got to kill the NK which made no sense. Can't give her the big ending as well. People reading waaaaaaaay too much in the Brown eyes etc etc. Jon is the hero of the story, always has been.
Can't see arya being caught tbh. If she can walk through a charnel house of living dead and gut the night kind a few cockless wonders and a dragon won't stop her. I'd have to dispute the jon is the hero thing. He's one of the babyfaces yes but he's not the only one. Arya has been in as many episodes as jon.... and in many ways had the bigger struggle to survive. her story arch has gone trans continantel. travelled across westeros with and without the hound. served at tywin lannisters table. Survived the rats for example, the red wedding she was there. the vale, learning t fight in bravos. the play houses. the eye stabbing Jon's survived beyond the wall on an expedition, ****ed a wildling who then tried to kill him, sailed back to saved the last of the wildlings, got stabbed and brought back. barely survived first battle of winterfell before sister saving. repeated the trick again in second battle.. saved by arya... and in between had to be saved by deanrys. his arse in face has been saved three times by female family members. i can't decide who'll do the last bit in the end. anyway..... Sansa and bran are loose ends. they are 1000 miles north (but apparently that takes 2 weeks to march) so unless they've a means to fly down on back of word of this battle in 5mins.... but who knows the ways they've gone lol. For me this next and final episode has to start with tryion and jon being up **** creek cos deanyrs has the army and the cavalry and the dragon and she's torched the place.
Never mind all this dragon nonsense proper TV show on tomorrow. C4 9pm The Virtues, don't miss it. @Red Hadron Collider
And thats part one of why Jon doubts her now. Up to that point he was still pretty much on board. Just needs a straw to break the camels back Giving Arya all the major deaths seems lazy, unstoppable assassin BORING. Also lacks the twist needed, Jon killing her gives more of a dramatic and 'bittersweet' ending, which is how the ending has been described by all the cast.
In the ned the entire show and books hang round Jon snow as secret child of heir to the mad kings throne. In the end rheagar thought he was the prince that was posmised and was trying when killed to remove his own father. The baby is then housed by ned stark and all the rest then flows around him. Ned is heavily involved in outset of tale, the youngest targarians are then in the end fill in. We have to see the "ending" to really know. If jon snow actually final does something other than be saved by girls then he might be the hero. he is the central character though. whether deanrys is the actual villian or fallen hero or what we don't know. Cercei has been central but in this series she's cut one head off. she's just not the central villian. shes a protagonist who fell late but it felt like at this point she's been there to enable deanrys fall. she was almost irrelevant with jeoffry. tywin was more vital. yes a rich character but the true villian? really? clearly the night king was parachuted in by tv show and he ended up falling quite easy so dunno what that makes him. Same as ramsey bolton... a truly brilliant little character.
The only way for them to redeem GOT now is basically have bran waking up from a dream. Else the past 2 seasons feels all dexterish about it for me lol P.s. its a joke, its iredeemable. Thank god theres only 1 ep left
