Spoiler: spoiler varis was merely a means to complete her fall. one more betrayal. frankly I would agree that with only 6 shows the time from his discovery of the secret to his execution is far too low. it needed at least some small victory for varis where he got some part of 7 kingdoms to declare for job or something. Jon is consistent from season 1. honest just like old ned. he wouldn't lie to cercei. he didn't lie to sansa or anyone else. he and old ser Davos don't do bad ****. they know she knew everyone surrendered.. Jon is jon. he will **** off back up north beyond the wall in the end I reckon. the list left is short now. arya... might not resurface bar heading west. thormond. gone beyond wall. brienne. full of lannister sperm. sansa... doing nothing... no d of out on own and a loose end. Spoiler: spoiler Jon is just jon. they've done him no favours really with how they've built up sansa as every time they give him a strategy meeting you know it's going to go horribly horribly wrong in he olden days his actions beyond the wall especially were far better worked. look at this episode. they had him casually slaughtering lannister not even looking rather than giving him a proper rival. Jon is absolutely 100% sure to head off into sunset somehow. never being a king. some noble sacrifice or some such. I honestly can't see many options left for the 7 kingdoms bar independence for all once deanyrs gets a knifing.

in fairness..... every woman in this show who wears black is evil. Danny put the stuff on and turned evil cercei went from drunken slut to evil queen with one outfit change. sansa is running about in black too. I fully expect arya to be in a floral dress now her psychopathic days are over. but seriously..... there is literally 3 lords left. dorn has a prince. some kid I reckon. high garden empty. and.... samwise tarly and his wildling whore. obvious throne material there. but seriously. the vale, river run, high garden and casterly rock are all empty. kings landing is gone the barathron house is now gendry. dorn is all but empty. Danny, sansa and jon are all thats left.
my ideal ending. tyrion is confronted by bronn wanting high garden and Danny says **** sake what have you.promised of mine now... then says well... bronn kill him then and I'll give it you. and he does.
She learned from her experiences with Cersi and has been warped by them, she's the only one still playing the game in the background. After all the slaughter someone will need to step up.

yes but she's also 1000s of miles north. it'll be interesting to see the ending as they've not respected distances at all so far nor at the very least seeded where the **** all these unsullied and dolthraki emerged from. what is frustrating is one single scene where they said half the forces remain here to hold dragonstone and the rest go north would make sense of her going back there after winterfell and where they came from. same for varis. they could have spelled.out his attempts to poison Danny a bit more and given him one more show to scheme in.. it's like film quality action and rush the great tv background this series.
Danny has been clear. Jon did it all. another poor foolish honest stark raised by ned to be honourable in all things. Jon is the living embodiment of the stupidity of ned stark that led to ned losing his head and his family's slaughter. honour above everything. so in the end something between Danny and jon must occur. the final ruler could well be decided by dragon switching sides for example.

And who's the one Stark who has learned the hard way? I'm convinced she'll end up ruling and the only one who will see her for who she really is will be Arya.

Her telling the dwarf the big secret knowing he'd tell others was very Little finger. The only one who sometimes looks at her and wonders how much of her is still in there is Aarya.
She won't have to fight she'll get handed it somehow and all will love her and be grateful she's there. Then there will be that evil smirk she developed.
