No she was playing Brit Marling and Jason Issacs was playing Jason Issacs, who are supposed to be married in that Dimension. On what is assumed to be the set for the OA.
Don't see it end that way at all, just that they are passing through a Dimension very similar to our own, hence them being married when IRL they aren't (of course)

Apparently there are going to be 5 series in total, or there is story for 5. So plenty more to come.I obviously wasn't paying enough attention at the end there then.
