Back... finally.

Saw guardians ii. Excellent. Easily marvels best movie series now. Get the next one made.

Saw fate of furious. ****ing dire. That series of movies is gone so bad it's now ruining the whole franchise.

Saw the mummy. Ok so just cos it's Tom cruise playing a character he is really too old now for... well the effort is pretty good. The originals were more chi and a comic book style but this went more horror style and it was reasonably good actually.

 

May be a lunatic in real life but I'll always give him applause for always doing his own stunts...

Guardians is awesome...just don't know how they are going to blend it with Avengers

Furious series is brilliant.....its the garbage action we were missing from the eighties until all the eighties guys got together for expendables lol.....its jyst braindead ludicrous fun. I need that genre to survive lol

 

Guardians just turn up, play good music and rip the absolute piss out of the avengers. Particularly the lesser avengers.

The cartoons have already set this story out. It should be a guardians movie not an avenger movie.

 

Xxx legend of zander for you if you want that sort of garbage action. The furious seies is awful now. The thing has no logical linking, the prior two movies set up Statham as the ultimate villia, almost spectre like....suddenly wow he's flipped to hero... oops Spoiler

I can't get over the fact he's an immoral freak. Him and Mel Gibson can't watch. Can't take either of them serious. Mel because he's a racist and Cruise because he's a judgement brainwashed freak.

 

Just finished on Narcos 3 - sound. Thought it was iffy till the fourth episode, but then it get really good.

On the recommendation of a work colleague, I'm downloading Ozark - any good?

 

Ozark is decent; bit like a poor man's breaking bad. Enjoyable.

 

Yeah but the movie itself isn't bad. The main character needed to be aimed at say 30 as an age. Cruise looks his age now.

He has also ruined Jack reacher, though in truth the books are poor enough fare to build a good script off of.

 

I loved Ozark. For season 1 it was very impressive...

Have a feeling it's going breaking bad way though. Won't spoil it too much but he'll become a badass imo.

 

I'm with Sky on this Ozark is class really good first season.

I like Ozark, I'm not saying it is bad, it's definitely a good worth-watching show; I'm just saying there are some obvious parallels with breaking bad and it appears to be inspired by it. It's good, just not AS good. It's good but...

It's a bit predictable. You can usually tell what is going to happen in each episode 10 mins in. It certainly lacks the artistry of BB. And I just don't think Bateman was the best actor for the role. He's a good actor and I like him in most things but I don't think he carries across dark and stressful as convincingly as others could. He's a good actor but I think they could have improved the show by casting someone else for that role.

Good show though.

 

Still need to see guardians 2. Missed it when was out at cinemas.
