Watched this one called Berlin Syndrome ... very good so let's saaaaay i dunno 8 outta 10 It's all about @Nozzer
Had a bit of an Amy Adams a thon Man of steel - not bad. I enjoyed the first 2/3s of it but, boy, did it get a bit repetitive at the end. It's too long by about 30 minutes. 7.5/10 Then I rewatched Batman vs Superman. It was surprisingly better second time around. It still has some major flaws (Martha) but I enjoyed it. 7/10 Nocturnal Animals. I knew **** all about this film going in but I enjoyed the **** out of it. It really hooked me in and had me shouting 'get to ****' at the screen. Loved it. Jake Gyllenhaal was outstanding too. It really got to me. 9/10 Arrival. Starts off as one thing and ends as another. Not your usual sci-fi stuff but enjoyable all the same. I'm going to knock off a point because the start is too dark to see anything. The washed out colour pallet is OK but light the scenes so you can see what the **** is happening and also I understand the 'real world feel' they might have been going for but to have people talking around helicopters and not being able to hear them is annoying. So 7/10 Amy Adams is a fine actress. (not actor. Where has that bullshit come from?)
Started watching The Returned, I watched the original and thought it very good. The remake seems well done so far. Worth a watch. The Returned opens in a small mountain community which is rocked to its core when several local people who are presumed dead suddenly re-appear at their homes. Despite having passed away some years earlier, these ghostly characters appear in human form, they have not aged, and they are completely unaware of their own fatality. Determined to reclaim their lives and start over, they slowly come to realize that they are not the only ones to have been brought back from the dead. Their return augers torment for their community when a gruesome murder attempt bears a chilling resemblance to the work of a serial killer from the past. This is a homecoming like no other.
As this is the games thread i have a question. I've just bought a HP Stream 11 laptop. It was on a pretty good deal. I'm only looking for a basic laptop to run football manager. I've tried searching everywhere but i can't really get confirmation whether it will run it. It hits the majority of what's needed to run it but obviously i don't want to buy something and find out it doesn't do the one thing i want it to do haha. Anyone got any thoughts?
Yeah and i've given it a search and it seems ok but i've spoken to my mate and he said because it's a small laptop it may have trouble. But seeing as im only using the laptop for FM i can't see why it would be unable to process this.
The process is slightly small so he said it may run slow but i can't see how it would be so slow it would be unplayable.
Not played it for a while but all you had to do if your specs were the low end of the minimum requirements was select less leagues to run which was fine as you don't really give a **** about the Saudi Arabian Premier League.
Depends what the specs of your laptop is. The laptop size has nothing to do with it at all. As long as the spec of your laptop covers the minimum specs of FM you should be golden. Obviously the more powerful your laptop, the quicker it will run FM i.e. less waiting time.
Sorry bud but i'm not sure your laptop will be able to handle the latest FM. Saying that you might want to get a second opinion but i'm pretty sure your laptop is too low spec.
