Watched Iron Fist, can't understand the **** it got from critics. Thought it was pretty good.

Only problem I saw with was Finn Jones not being as strong an actor as the other lead actors in the other series, he's not quite as engaging.
However overall I'd say it was better than Luke Cage, which kind of ran out of steam half way through.

watched the martian yesterday. An easy watch if you like sci fi. Won't be a classic but pretty good watch.

Plot to get him off was a bit dumb and i thought they could have explored how it must have felt for him to be alone a bit better but not bad. 7.5/10

It was "ok" as a film but I felt it a mite unrealistic and that always hurts. If they want to get the top ratings they have to really work the details.

yeah that bit is within 20 years sort of thing that's entirely "possible" if we really wanted to.

Him getting out the tools and stripping the module etc and just taking off is deeply unrealistic.

BBC 4 tonight. Jim Al-Khalili presents a documentary on The Beginning (of the universe). Should be excellent. The Large Hadron Collider features <whistle>
