Wales is basically a massive reservoir in waiting.

So is Manchester. think about it - covered round three side by hills and moors. Build a dam from Bolton to Wigan, down to warrington and through to Stockport. Naturally replenishes itself every day.

We'd lose a lot of wool from the backs of the dead animals if we just drowned them, but we could just keep on using pure sheep, and not the human/ovine crossbreed, instead.

Mirror are alleging that Liverpool board are to hold crisis talks tomorrow on the implications of a FIFA ban affecting them domestically - or then again they could just read FIFA's own misconduct manual and see that the maximum penalty for on-field discretions is a 24 match ban and no ban has EVER applied to a domestic league.

Exactly, an international game ban looks definite but FIFA have no jurisdiction over domestic football.

The English tabloids are just **** stirring until what ever happens.

So according to the Mirror,Liverpool have told them their intentions within a few hours of an alleged incident taking place ?

Being that FIFA are the world governing body for football surely they could have jurisdiction .

In theory they COULD re-write their own rulebook, rip up all their own precedents and retrospectively apply the new sanctions to incidents that happened before they reviewed them (as the FA has frequently done) but it does rather leave them open to a variety of civil lawsuits from the player, his country and his club. Then again, they could just ban him for a year in internationals, as their own current rules allow, and be safe in the knowledge that the FA are just waiting for him to fart in the wrong direction to hand out a populist year ban of their own. And as many of us said after the Ivanovic incident, Luis WILL **** up again.

No matter how you cut it, for the third time, THIRD TIME, Suarez has bit someone. FFS man!!!!

THIS JUST IN: FIFA charges Luis Suarez for biting opponent. If found guilty, rules call for minimum ban of 2 matches, maximum of 24 months.

If he threw his elbows around in a potentially fatal way like most "decent" footballers no one would care.

He's an absolute nutcase no defending him form me. Can they carry bans over from International to doemstic games? I'm pretty sure that they can't.

So Suarez was on the biggest stage the World Cup to show his possible perspective buyers his talents and he's ****ed it.

He's a complete **** but it looks like he'll remain a Liverpool player now - and if he scores goals (and behaves for us!!!) then **** it <diva>

I did predict his next bit of madness was going to be to bite or a headbutt a ref - That'll be next I reckon.
