I ciulnt give a ****. Fair enough banning him four months. But if he is out for 16 of oyr games he should be out four double that for uraguay. Dont understand why we have to be the biggest losers when we have spent so much time trying to reign him in.

Its a bit poor that we are getting punished more than Uruguay but as you say it could've been much worse.

 

Can you imagine the ban had Suarez actually hurt someone

 

Surprised they've in theory punished Liverpool quite so much.

If have thought a longer international ban and smaller domestic would have been better but hey ho.

We shouldn't have to pay him for the games he'll miss for something we had nothing to do with.

I personally dont see why liverpool should have to be punished in any way over this.
Expect them to claim compo from someone, maybe withold Suarez wages. You dont want to have to pay him for 4 months for sitting on his arse, when you already had to do that last season (albeit for a slighly shorter period)

 

In all seriousness, banning Suarez from international football for two years would have hurt him much more than this. Out of interest, how long will nine Uruguay game take?

I says he will miss Copa America next year.

 

We can send him to nick some water while he's doing nothing.

A bit harsh on the club, but I suppose it does send a signal to him. Something has to get home to him that he can't keep doing this.
My only concern is that it really is a spontaneous action with him and so even a severe punishment might not prevent it from happening again.
He really does need the psychologists to sort him out.

Time period bans are **** as they can be manipulated. Number of games is harder unless they include friendlies.
