what that anyones had reason to go on an everton board or that there's not been an everton board worth going on for a decade?

surely you don't mean you've spent a decade of your life trying to tell LFC fan they are bitter...

 

nah, its just reading the constant drivel on most threads on here from the bitter one and the boring one tobes, and everything said is just negative

The old 606 board was great.

We used to have some real laughs back then with the likes of Stan etc and he used to love camping on our board and calling us bitter.

On a serious note, I do wonder why people do it. I would never go on another board simply to wind somebody up. To discuss something yes, but not just to have a go and reflexively dispute everything they say.
It's an internet forum, so I see it all the time and I'm quite used to it, but it still baffles me as to why people want to do it.

If we all just agreed with the OP and there was no opposing view, it'd be as dull as dishwater. Which is what can happen on 1 club sites (hello rawk) as a party line develops and anyone going against it is vilified. Which I suppose is why multi club boards exist, as it allows for a broader mix of opinion.
Just plain wumming is dull, but there's a difference between holding an opposing view and wumming, but often the 2 are rolled in to one and the same when it suits......

Barry is to decide on his future in the next week apparently. He's had a number of offers, so we'll see.

Deloufeu has gone back to Barca

Lukaku remains Martinez No.1 target but he won't be doing anything regarding his future until Belgium exit the WC - and fortunately for us, he's stank so far. Spurs and Atletico are also reportedly interested.

This is disingenuous. Getting fed-up having to fend off obvious wums doesn't mean you're not interested in discussing an opposing point of view, just tired of pointless, circular arguments.
Have a look at the old Python "argument" sketch.

Making purposefully inflammatory remarks, then falling back on the "you can't take a different opinion" defence is paradigm troll behaviour and doesn't fool anybody any longer.

 

Old 606, Everton board was fun to visit... must admit- I admire how you lot handled WUMs... never got bent out of shape- just cooly laughed them off.
