Henry was talking out his arse when he came out with that macho bollocks.

The clause was patently woolly, Suarez people felt it was a release clause LFC and the PFA said it wasn't. If it had been a legally water tight release clause and he'd have wanted the move - he'd have gone.

You can be sure that when the new contract was drawn up that 'woolly' element will have been removed and it'll now be very 'black and white'

 

Funny, I seem to remember Liverpool fans claiming that angle last summer and you was arguing from the other side of the fence

TBH, I'd be happy if we got £65m+ for him. sure, he's probably worth more now but I'd have taken £50m last summer and we've last had a quality season out of him too.
