I remember on F1 2001 [PS2] they weren't allowed to say anything to do with "Tarso Marques", so it went something like "In 22nd place is Fernando Alonso and in 24th position is Gaston Mazzacane" if he was in 23rd.
Did he sign for the team particularly late or something? Maybe the game was all in place to go with another driver in his seat, and then they had to do a last minute change and didn't have time to re-record commentary? Or maybe it was the other way around and recorded it with Alex Yoong who finished the season in his seat, and then realised in all games they'd set the game up with a teams starting line-up?
This series of games nearly lead me to re-taking the second year of my degree! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kp6U7EJB40&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Always wanted to play GP4. A group of modders were working on an updated version of the .exe to essentially create an F1 management game on there, with this season's cars included... but the forum they were on recently disappeared without a trace.
Sky Sports are suggesting that Mercedes could give Michael a race break (leave out the Suzuka GP), similar to Massa once. Unless he gets on pole and starts 11th (which he has proven he can do), his points chances in the ****-box are ****.
Interesting, I assume he wouldn't have to serve his penalty in Korea if they're doing that? I hope they give Sutil a race. Sam Bird's their young driver though isn't he?
Safety will be improved if Schumacher watches the racing. In that respect, little has changed. However, on a personal level, I hope he continues to perform to the gallery until he's about 50. The risk is that he may kill or injure some innocent; but without such dreadful mishap, he is of considerable entertainment value.
If they're (Merc) seriously considering this, then one could read into this that he's pretty much leaving the sport, again! I doubt, if he's commited to next year he'd let them dump him for one race!
Under the circumstances, I should say that I admire your restraint, EMSC: Sunday's repeat performance must have been especially hard. But the crucial point is this: In the absence of other traffic, misjudging one's braking point is usually not too costly. On the other hand, doing it time and again with others ahead is always downright dangerous!
It is yes, but it has happened only twice. Not 5 or 6 times. Some drivers on the grid have used cars as weapons, been incautious when the lights go off, repeatedly crashed into different people in the same race. The SC went in, the brakes were cold. They locked.. Michael did misjudge his braking, and an accident occurred. Petrov did the same thing in Korea last year, there weren't any calls for him to retire. It is racing, all the drivers aren't perfect at all. Vergne caused a collision with Heikki in Valencia, Webber with Heikki in 2010.. Hamilton multiple times in Monaco. So even the best have their moments. And because it happens twice with a certain MSC, who is older than some drivers, there is a silly uproar.
EMSC: I know that your memory is not too selective, since you yourself have mentioned using a vehicle as a weapon.
Thankyou, and not really, drawbacks always occur. At the end the success tastes sweeter than immediate championship successes. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/moto...umacher-needs-to-come-back-in-2013/57841046/1 Interesting article.
Schumacher's dangerous? Give it a break. Mistakes should not be punished as much as dirty driving eg Maldonado at Monaco on Perez. Schumacher should retire at the end of this season and get a ambassdor/test driver role at Mercedes or something like that.
