Technically only 4... since one he has wheels inside the line, but interesting. Was that over one lap? Edit: Scratch that... Looked at the lap counter. Doh!
Out of curiosity, when is a race result deemed final? Pretty pointless in this situation, but say that was Alonso, or someone in the title hunt, and we were to email several teams and the FIA this evidence, how long is it before the race result is certain, and new evidence has no impact?
One of the pics *Number 4* the corner is very short, he puts all 4's over the line so he does cut that corner as well.
I mentioned during the race I thought Massa had been cutting corners. Didn;t realise it was that much and so often. He should have had a penalty for not staying within the confines of the circuit. Normally you can do it 3 times and that's okay, but its clear he was deliberately doing it to gain an advantage.
Same here, after hearing that Webber got a penalty I was almost expecting Massa to get the same even for just the last corner he cut before getting pass Ricciardo.
Your all missing the obvious point. That car is red and therefore adheres to a different set of rules.
Can someone clear this up for me? Why did the McLarens not have their normal "vodafone" advert on the back difussers? Instead, they had maximuscle and tooned? Is vodafone banned in the Malay penninsula?
They havent had Vodafone for ages. They had Lucozade since the start of the year. I think the last time Vodafone was used was last year.
Watch out, BLS: di Montezemolo may send a mob of tifosi to hunt you down for blasphemy. On a similar note: I suppose we should be thankful – for the present at least – that Briatore's ambition to hold the reigns of the prancing horse is still only an ambition. Were it not for 'crashgate', I believe he may have already had his wish by now…
Based on Japan 1989... whenever the stewards are done Or for that matter Brazil 2003! Wasn't decided for nearly a week!
I'll find out later tonight, should at home waiting for me (the game, not Massa!) Agree, Webber went off the circuit and from what I could see he was pushed off to boot and got a pen, yet from the above photo's it doesn't appear to me that anyone is pushing Massa of the circuit, FIA to the resuce?
Autosport driver ratings: Vettel - 9 Webber - 6 Button - 8 Hamilton - 10 Alonso - 10 Massa - 6 Schumacher - 4 Rosberg - 9 Raikkonen - 7 Grosjean - 7 Di Resta - 10 Hulkenburg - 7 Kobayashi - 5 Perez - 6 Ricciardo - 8 Vergne - 6 Maldonado - 9 Senna - 5 Kovalainen - 6 Petrov - 5 De La Rosa - 6 Karthikeyan - 6 Glock - 9 Pic - 5 Great ratings, as always.
As usual inconsistent! Vettle ballsed up quali (for him) and inherited the lead. Button ballsed up Quali (half a second of Lewis) and struggles to hang onto Vettle. Alonso, well fuk knows.
di Resta should be equal to Vettel, up to you whether you think Vettel should be higher or di Resta lower. Rosberg does not deserve a 9. Alonso does not deserve a 10. Hulkenberg deserves a lower rating, despite his good pace on a two-stopper, he was well off his team-mate in qualifying and threw away a good race squeezing Kobayashi unnecessarily. Massa and Senna both deserve to be bumped up slightly for good recovery drives. Pic 5? How did they work that one out?
