And from the start to China. When that flexing floor was banned the results plummeted, and now they are back up again getting pole and winning every race and with the odd front row lockout when they bought a new floor design around Germany and funnily enough the results shot back up again just like at the start. McLaren have got something up their sleeve that gives them an advantage and it involves that floor of theirs I reckon. **** knows what it is but the do have something working well for them.
Really worried about the start tommorow, Maldonado has the talent and I hope now he has a brain. In terms of the race I don't think it will be a case of driving into the distance for Lewis. Vettel will challenge I am sure of it especially if the temperatures are high.
Yeah, I doubt Lewis can really drive off from the start. I'd like a result from Maldo too. He needs one and hopefully that might help him behave. Plus, I expect Alonso to be ****-hot off the start; he always is.
If button takes out alonso at the start will it be team orders conspiracy o'clock? That said Alonso will probs be second by the 3rd corner.
I hope he has a clean and perfect start and Vettels pace behind Maldonado (if he doesn't jump him at the start) causes Maldonado to go ultra defensive and leave Lewis to run and hide for the race. Won't happen though and there will most probaly be a safety car, even the Mclaren pit stops still worry me!
This is what I reckon will happen at the start with Lewis and Pastor: Make of that as you will, though I don't think many people will be laughing
Qualifying pace has always been there, they struggled in hot temperatures and wet conditions in the races at the start of the season. I.E Malaysia, Bahrain and Valencia.
I think it will be clean between these two at turn 1, things will happen behind them. But I have no doubt Pastor will try to land an overtake on Hamilton on Lap 1.
The Williams is usually slow off the start (I'm thinking Spain here) so I'm expecting Hamilton to have a clean run as Maldonado is preoccupied with Vettel. Button will need to challenge them early on to have any chance so he needs to make sure he doesn't get jumped by Alonso.
I think Pastor will be on the side of Lewis going into turn 1 with Seb lingering behind. I don't think you can really gain a place from the start at this place unless you really REALLY **** it up. Worst case for me though if Lewis has a great start and Pastor does focus on Seb but I think Pastor...............................*might* of learnt from his lessons about ruining his race positions from qualifying.
