Yeah because the army definitely "protects the country". These days it's all about invading other countries but it's okay cause we're the "good guys"

Yes, I do, but If I had to choose between one or the other I'd choose to go to a war and protect my country. It's a massive honour and privilege to serve and protect one's country.

To quote another overused meme, I don't want to live on this planet any more.

 

You take away the army, with the army goes the secret services with that there is no surveillance, thus exposing the UK to any sort of attack.

For example, North Korea or Iran could just drop a load of bombs on the UK.Done.

Not every country in the world is as democratic and peaceful as the western countries, there are bad guys in the world who are always trying to come up with new ways of killing people.

 

I'm so happy than people like you aren't in charge of the powerful countries of this world.

I would of loved to of fought in the Falklands War and stuffed it to them Argies. Bliss.

Let's say WW3 broke out again, you guys would probably just get out of the country and you'd be too scared to fight.

Some people may not support the wars, but I have respect for the soldiers that put their life on the line. No one will know how the wars have effected this country (safety wise), but I feel a lot safer knowing we have guys and girls in our army that have bigger balls then any of us.

 

Why? Cause there'd be less invasions and murders disguised as "protection of the peace"?

 

Umm...if North Korea wanted to nuke us, they'd do it with if we had an army....our nukes are deterring them, not our army. I really can't believe how naive you are.
