She never relegates me to the sofa she knows I enjoy it too much. I just spend all night on the Playstation or watching Road Wars and Dog the Bounty Hunter.

That's more or less what I do now. This isn't a very good advertisement for marriage.

How did you stumble across that, Jaidi!?

He makes an error concerning the dinosaurs, however. The biggest extinction was the Permian, which wiped out huge amounts of life on the planet, for 10m years it was touch and go that the earth didn't end up a dead world.

Insects were never the same again, this is how big some of them really were, it's like something out of Jules Verne. Imagine this thing flying in through your open window!

I really got the feeling I was reading a later Philip K Dick short story, it was excellent stuff!
So many great ideas all swirling around in there.

Has anyone seen these links come up to this website on NewsNow once every while? Always has links to this 'A GUARANTEED PROFIT OF...' betting pages that seem to rely on well placed bets on free offers to cover you for any eventuality and mean profit... it seems to add up but if all he is getting is cash for re-direction to the webpages it doesn't seem like enough. Link for this one - http://www.sportingpreview.com/gpb/000036.php

All well and good, but the odds on the Arse winning are now 2.15 not 2.25. That is a difference of £50 I think, for the £102 stake. It would cock up the whole bet if Arsenal win.

I reckon these links are posted then the odds change very quickly afterwards.

Not starting a thread for this. I've been perusing BBC Sport and came across Garth Crooks' Team of the Week. At LB is [and I've copied and pasted here] our old friend Mr Buttner. Also, check out the Did You Know? sentence. Irony, just doesn't cover it ;) :

LEFT-BACK - ALEXANDER BUTTNER, MAN UTD

I was expecting another Dutchman to steal the headlines against Wigan. The full-back's performance left Frenchman Patrice Evra looking shocked and bewildered at times. I wasn't sure whether Evra's expressions on the bench were down to Buttner's outstanding display or the realisation that his days at Old Trafford might now be numbered.
Did you know? Buttner is the first defender to score and assist a goal on his Premier League debut since Daniel Fox for Burnley in February 2010.
