Glasgow was actually really nice. Some ****ty bits as there are in pretty much every city but for the most part very good, nothing I saw justifies its reputation (except maybe the Barras)

That's the spirit. The Middle East was once the most advanced, cultural part of the world. Baghdad was the centre of progressive, intellectual thinking. Then some fundie dickheads came along, burnt all the libraries and declared all their science, maths, literature and art to be the work of the devil. It takes a long time to repair that sort of damage, but it can be done.

Well the *****ls destroyed Baghdad, and that happened to be around the same time that outspoken fundamentalist Muslims started condemning independent thought (ijtihad), and pushing blind faith (taqlid). All the major libraries were in Baghdad and had been burnt down by the *****ls, and people started turning towards fundamentalism and abandoning science. Very sad.

I played a bit today but the game crashed so I'm pissed off at it right now. My team is pretty good though - when the game crashed I was 2nd in the Eastern Conference after 8 or so games. Got a couple of awesome veterans in Bradley Johnson and James Vaughan (it's 2021). 4-2-3-1 seems to work well in the MLS so I'm enjoying that.

My best games in the MLS have been done using a flat 4-3-3. I even managed to get Craig Bellamy in on a DP contract one game with the Union, he did pretty good but I think he may have cost too much to be worth it. Ah well, Union is a good team to go with at the start of the game. Their team is actually pretty good, if a bit striker happy. They even have one-time "Southampton target" Freddy Adu in their roster. Who else do you have in your team?

Also, got a hang of the transfers and all the different contracts yet?

The team is all regens now apart from Vaughan and Johnson. Most of my players are under 25. Freddy Adu is playing somewhere mediocre in Europe and he's well into his 30s.

Got the hang of the contracts now, and the salary cap makes the game interesting. Trading draft slots for players is very interesting as well, but it annoys me because I'm constantly being flooded with stupid bids from other MLS teams. Seriously, if it were real life I would press charges for harrassment.

Good to see you've got the hang of it pretty quick. Some of the offers are pretty stupid yes. Anyways, wait until the Draft comes along, then it gets interesting. Remember you're looking out for the Generation Adidas players, as they're usually the best and don't count towards your salary cap. If you have any queries, let me know and I'll try and help out.

One question, are you able to find a player called Sebastien Le Toux in your game? He's probably retired, but in real life he's a Philadelphia legend and he always does well for the AI in FM, but then I can never get him going because his stats are ****ing weird. Just interested to see how his career panned out in your game.

    Have a look for yourself....

Already had one draft because I took charge just before the end of last season. Got a 19 year old Generation Adidas player. He's a centre back and he's awesome.

This Le Toux guy is retired on my game, but from the look of those attributes, I'd play him as a deep-lying forward (attack).

Even with such low Creativity, Decisions and Anticipation? Strangely, the coaches and assistant recommend him playing as a Defensive Forward, which I've never played in my entire FM life.

Still can't believe that two planes hit the World trade centers and that they collapsed, it just seems surreal.
