Thought Allen had a decent game today. Wasn't spectacular but got forward and was more positive with his passing.
Think you're reading a bit too much into it. Whenever the game is won he always plays a bit lazily. I still think he'll do a job for us on the pitch as long as he's here but I just can't be doing with his interview antics.
if he celebrates it would have been called a farewell if he dosn't hes not interested. no winning either way i expect.
For me, Suarez was always the player who kept on pushing regardless of the score; he always wanted another goal and pushed right til the whistle. Today, he looks lethargic and uninterested.

One excellent save and everything handled cleanly Johnson-6 defended ok not too much going forward Toure-6 little to do but looked tidy and composed Agger -6. See toure comment Enrique- 6 got forward but did little with it Lucas - 7 did what he does best Allen -7. Got up and down well and got into quite a few attacking positions Gerard -7 quite for much of game but scored a good goal and should have had another Aspas-8 always a threat,good goal and set up Gerard's Borini-7 showed good pace,good runs,should have scored Courthino-9 just excellent. Brilliant goal Subs Ibe -6 did ok good pace but held ball well Henderson-7 very lively,linked well,another who should have scored Suarez -6 missed a sitter really other than that looked pissed off Alberto -6 neat and tidy for little time he had Skrtel-6 little to do game over when he came on. Good workout. No goals conceded ,8 scored very satisfactory tour I would say. ,
Agreed kph. I just hope we can keep this momentum into the games that matter. A slow start is the last thing i want to aee this season consideri g we have some very winable games early on...may even help convince lois to stay. Much as he has pissed me iff we are stronger with him and cant stand the idea of him strengtheni g the gooners.
decent run out to get guys more ready for the off but still not anything like the intensity my view was allen was decent in supporting but was making some crap passes.... i think aspas scored well but didn't do much to excite me.... borini was poor. this lot were nothing much and again he's been largely anonymous.... it bodes ill.
How good was Coutinho again by the way? Still can't believe we got him for £8.5m (allegedly), could have a big season ahead of him. Goes past players like they're not there but he also shows good composure at the right time, he never rushes or panics under pressure, at 20 years of age I hope there is still more to come from him.
Coutinho does look something special. Proof that you don't need to spend stupid money to get a match winner. everytime i watch him he just gets better and better. very exiting
