F1 is overpriced every single way possible. It's a shame for the fans, better to be at home, warm and cosy, we can switch to something else if there is nothing happening on track..
But being at your favourite sporting event while being up close to them beasts surely is enough? Germany last year was probably one of my better weeks, even if it was wet or stupidly cold most of the time.
In total today the top 3 teams put in 86 laps between them: Vettel: 21 Webber: 8 Button: 15 Hamilton: 14 Alonso: 14 Massa: 14
Heard on the local news today... People turned away for qualifying and offered refunds as they can get anymore people in. People were sleeping in cars along all the main routes in. Silverstone will make a loss of £7M on this =/ Bad day for british motorsport =(
A slightly surprising fact from the bbc Nico Rosberg's average grid position in 2012 is 4.88, the best of any driver. Sebastian Vettel is second best on 5.13, ahead of Lewis Hamilton on 5.25. Championship leader Fernando Alonso, meanwhile, has an average of 7.38.
Both Caterhams into q2 yey or nae? Hope that half second improvement is an actual half second improvement
Button Button Button....... Hamilton looked a bit at risk as did di Resta. Brits living on the edge and one unfortunately dropping off it.
McLaren didnt give Lewis enough time to reach the flag for a flying lap, very lucky! Not sure what happened to Jenson though he was flying in the first 2 sectors.
I love wet conditions, but they don't seem to have the ground clearance for it ATM, this could be a bit too dangerous
seems the stewards have finally agreed, there's wet driving skill and there's crossing your fingers and hoping for luck.
