Perez a 7? If Alonso get's 9/10 for getting 5th in a Ferrari, what the hell did Perez do differently in a sauber... Had to laugh at the 10/10 they gave Jenson, Seb had a few of those kind of races last year "run out in front and then hold the gap", he was lucky to hit the 9's and Jenson get's a 10/10 first off, lol autosport is a joke with these rankings.
Ted's video blog: http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,,12870_7609615,00.html Autosport rate for the entire weekend I think, rather than just the race, that's probably where Vettel and Alonso lost points, although Button admitted to a mistake in quali as well. 8's a bit generous for Schumacher given he only lasted ten laps including a mistake at turn one. 7 for Perez is a joke, he drove brilliantly in the race, 22nd to 8th and was unlucky not to finish higher, would've qualified higher without a gearbox problem as well. Pathetic rating.
A five for Petrov hardly seems fair either. He was doing alright until his retirement while both HRTs got sixes. Most scores seem fair to me though.
Didn't pay much attention to this before but what the hell is this? They did **** all in practice and just impeded drivers in Q1. How is that worthy of a 6? Vettel got a 9 for last year Australian Grand Prix and he was perfect all weekend. Button was outqualified but had a strong race and that's worthy of a 10?
Something I've just noticed, in that first corner incident is that that may be the first incident I've ever seen where a car has had four wheels in the air and was still able to keep going afterwards.

I watched the qualifying onboard and made a note of the cornering speeds through turn 11 and 12, if anyone is interested: Q1

Driver Turn 11 Turn 12

Glock (soft) 200kph 206kph

Raikkonen (medium) 233kph 219kph

Alonso (medium) 215kph 220kph

Schumacher (medium) 213kph 212kph

De La Rosa (soft) 175kph 185kph

Senna (soft) 228kph 223kph

Massa (soft) 229kph 226kph

Q2

Driver Turn 11 Turn 12

Vettel (soft) 218kph 232kph

Hamilton (soft) 227kph 229kph

Schumacher (soft) 225kph 231kph

Ricciardo (soft) 215kph 233kph

Maldonado (soft) 229kph 229kph

Q3

Driver Turn 11 Turn 12

Hamilton (soft) 232kph 233kph

Webber (soft) 225kph 235kph

Button (soft) 228kph 236kph

Thanks, Forza - admirable dedication. What a pity we can't see all the drivers' speeds at each corner in each session. It's difficult to compare Q2 to Q3 but I would interpret Vettel's Q2 T11 speed to mean that he wasn't as comfortable with the loss of EBD as Webber was - something Vettel got on top of during the race. The maxed-out Q3 shows how good the MP4-27 is - a little ahead of the RB8 in the corners and a lot ahead on the straights. Did Raikkonen do those two corners in reverse? Where did you snag the video from?
A nice summary there Forza. Shame there was no onboard of Webber & Button from Q2 so we could see if the trend that Hamilton appears to show of being 4/5 kph quicker through the turn between Q2 & Q3 is the same for all drivers. As he was on soft tryes in both sessions and assumed low fuel, is surprising to see such a difference. Had de la Rosa got out of his car and pushed it through the corner!?
OK, thanks - I'll have a trawl. I found this from the race on dailymotion:

Forza: You can get YouTube videos on your hard drive using this: http://keepvid.com/ and then probably lay them side by side in windows movie maker if you have it.
Managed to crop the two videos so they start at the same point, I can't find a way of making them play side by side though. This is proving harder than I thought.
Thanks for the link AG. I managed to get the videos side by side in Corel and I'm uploading it now. EDIT: Here it is:
Nice comparison Forza. Thanks, I'd not seen these two. Having seen your post, I was hoping to read of the impressions people had gleaned from them. Webber's lap is good with a couple of minor errors (missing the odd apex by a small margin and running slightly wide). Hamilton's lap is crisper in all departments. He makes just one error at the final chicane (coming out of the first, left hand part of it). Both cars appear similarly good: the Red Bull is still very quick in the fast corners, although the McLaren has a small straight line advantage. I like Mark Webber but the biggest difference in these laps is not accounted for by the cars…
I think the biggest difference was that Webber had no KERS, but yeah I get your point - Hamilton did a better lap.
