The thing with Adam...he was starting to win me/us over. Without Lucas next to him he seems like a headless chicken! I think Spearing is capable of doing a decent job in the absence of Lucas...but if we can buy better then so be it!

I was given dogs abuse in the summer when I said we should take our Britsih blinkers off, by signing Adam,Hendo,Downing and not Cazorla n Mata, 6 months later people are startin 2 agree with what I was sayin 6 f**kin months ago Comolli spent 6 months travellin Europe lookin at the best talent in France,Holland,Spain,Portugal and elsewhere.What happned in the summer,Kenny had all the control,had British blinkers on , bought British and f**ked it up.We bought 5 players from the prem and 1 from South America.NONE from mainland Europe where Comolli has been scouting.Thats why Kenny took so long to agree to a contract in April, he wanted total control on transfers,and hes made a b**ls of it.The only transfers I think Comolli had control of since the takeover have been Coates and Suarez.

Who would you bring in during January, realistically? I agree we need to stop scouring the British market though, because most of it is **** atm.
The 2 I would go for are Leandro Damiaoo and Lucas Moura, and Id will be willing to part with £25m for each, both TOP Quality , one a poacher ( Damiao) one a Ronaldinho/Rivaldo type ( Lucas Moura) If either of there clubs were not up for that, Id be lookin at Christian Eriksen,Gaston Ramirez,Eden Hazard,Hernanes ( Lazio). If not them Id be looking at Soldado,Ganso,Navas,Gaitan( if he hasnt signed pre contract with United) Moutinho,Muniain,Gotze These sellin clubs all talk we want big bucks pre transfer, talkin the player up But if LFC were to slam a £20m bid in for Damiao/Moura I guarantee they would find it VERY,VERY hard to turn down, just like the player would find 90k a week hard to turn down

To be fair, Adam has played well of late - he just had a mare today. Everyone has them, so I'm hoping he pulls out a blinder next time. I don't think we need to go balls to the floor trying to replace him yet. Downing, Carroll and Kuyt however...
I agree thought Adam was a c**p signin in the summer but the last month he has played well, 2nite he wasnt the worst, but didnt paly well either.He wouldnt even make the bench in a top LFC team, but while Stevies out hes the best we got
I think it is due to him not having the safety of Lucas beside him. Having Lucas there allowed him to make his surging forward runs at the opposition defenders. Now he has to sit deep and work extra hard defensively which is effecting his game big time.
