I think it may be time for JC to hand his boots up. Agger and Skrtel didn't put a foot wrong. And in recent matches Carragher has been getting burnt by fairly averagely paced players, the future isn't too bright for him.
For goodness sake. It's a WIN, it's an AWAY WIN and a CLEAN SHEER. When we continue to do that as a routine away from home we can be very happy.
Good win glad we got the 3 points. We could have had loads but the points are more important. Skrtel had a good game.

adam and carroll were fighting over who would take the penalty - surely these things should be decided before the game as our regular penalty takers (gerrard and kuyt) weren't playing
Was a good result today against a team that could have caused problems. Think we were helped by the fact Long didn't play. Couple of good points in the fact that Carroll scored from a situation where he had to take control of the ball and think about what he was going to do, unlike his others where they just came to him and it was instinct. Hopefully he can now push on! Still don't understand why he pulls wide, he shouldn't leave the width of the 18yard box. Also a clean sheet which was desperately needed. I think that is our best defensive line up, and Carragher has to surely now be considered 2nd choice to Agger/Skrtel. I still think he has something to offer, but just not as first choice. Overall a good performance & win.
We bossed that game. We were superior in all aspects right across the pitch. Yet we still have posters moaning! Liverpool did all that we have asked them to do in away matches. If we repeat that superiority in all of our away matches will you still be moaning?
We should have won 5 or 6 nil and that has frustrated some, it shouldn't imo we need to take the 3 and move on to the next game.
It's the 3 points thatare important and 3 away points are what we particularly need. When you can get them by just being so superior and not over-extending yourself you should be well pleased!
