I have to say, when I saw the team sheet, I could see we couldn't give a flying ****, and so it transpired.
I do agree it would have been good to see Raheem on the pitch but Kenny played Maxi and brought Kuyt on in what is widely suspected to be their last games so it was a chance to say goodbye. Sterling is a future star and will be involved soon enough, people need to remember that the lad is only seventeen years old.
Have to agree, it was stupid not to give the kid a good 30 minutes. Kenny has the opinion that you shouldn't put kids in, when there is expectation. He wants the freedom to bring him on for a time after a game is already won. I have a certain level of understanding for that, but Kenny, feck it, just let him show what he can do. It is hardly going to psychologically damage the lad to be on the losing side.

Swansea and Elvis 1 - 0 liverpool and Kenny.. we should have beaten liverpool by a lot more, we missed some easy goals in the first half and shows brendan is right that we are desperate for a finisher, should have won 4-2 but very happy with the win anyway.....what about kenny's future ???? is he safe or have the board woken up and realised he will never be a top manager and will lose against small teams like us quite often.... liverpool would never let happen years ago....
