QPR fan here, Liverpool were the best team to come to Loftus Road this season. You looked like scoring in every attack yet somehow rarely testing the goalie. 2 things changed the game, the abysmal and toxic Barton was taken off and QPR grew as a team. Also Suarez was taken off and that looked like a signal that you thought the match was won. If neither happens, Liverpool still win. On Adam, I dont think he was any worse than the other midfielders tonight.
From our point of view your point about Saurez is valid. When Carroll came on the whole shape of the team changed and he tended to get in the way during a few of our late attacks instead of staying around the edge of your area. His positional play needs to vastly improve or he might as well play in central defence where at this time his height and heading would be better suited.

I think you guys should still be top 5 and have a say in who wins the title... team spirit? how about your not doing your job or giving it all for the shirt Downing, Adam, Carroll, now take a seat while we try to see if we can get the engines roaring again, oh and if you feel like it, buck your game up. and when did I say drop the whole team, have a look again baz, it is experimenting, it can be a sterling here, a morgan there, not all at the same time.
I have criticised Downing but I think it owuld be harsh to drop him now. He has been poor for most of the seaosn but he has just found a bit of form IMO.
I can see that, but was mainly pointing out to baz we would not drop everyone for all of the kids but to give some a chance. Also, if a youth player is coming through and over you and that doesn't spark something inside, then there in lies part of the mentality problem we have of not competing and wanting it- positions, starting, games, etc.

Hi guys. Only just had a chance to come over and post. I was at the game and you were fantastic for 70mins. The movement of Gerrard, Downing, Kuyt and Suarez was different class! Best performance from an away team this season apart from Man U (sorry!) when Rooney was on a different planet! Anyway, just wanted to say that I've always had a soft spot for Liverpool (apart from when you nicked the old 1st division off us in the 70s!!) and I loved watching your European exploits. You aren't far off being one of the best teams in the league imo. You got very tired on Wed and the Barton substitution really galvanised the crowd and thankfully we pulled off an amazing win. Christ we needed it!! Good luck for the rest of the season.
