They have both 1st choice CBs out which gives me confidence.Think Luis could give them a torrid time.

Really, really, really hope Agger is available he is HUGE to us now now, less because Carra makes mistakes, although he has had the occasional minor error, but more because we defend 10 yds deeper when he plays meaning we press less, and therefore have the ball less

Id play Coates b4 Carra today, and if both Kelly n Johnson are fit Id even consider a back 4 of Jonno Skrtel Kelly Jose, thats if Agger isnt fit, a big reason for that is Kelly has real pace.

It would also be nice to see Dirk on the right, after Gerrard hes still the best right sided player at the club, if Downing plays HE MUST PLAY ON LEFT,another tactical f**k up from Kenny( I am sick to f**kin death of seeing Kenny narrow the pitch, by inverting the wingers, its no wonder we struggle to score goals, we need width pitch as big as possible,United have the best group of wingers in the League, and they are top). And Sterling MUST be on the bench, but expect he wont be, 7 subs surely thats gives you room for 1 or 2 youth players, the League were even thinking of encorporating it as a rule that you HAD to have 2 youth players on the bench when they introduced 7 subs

When we play Newcastle it is a very open game both teams play attacking football
We want a strong team and a strong performance today put these bad results to bed The team needs to play better then of late and us supporters need to get behind the team more to spur the lads on instead of slating them

    COME ON YOU REDS

To be honest I hope that Ben Arfa does not have the type of game he had with WBA. He is the dangerman anf if he is on form we are in trouble (shows up our midfield buys as well).

Have not got the usual pre-match buzz, seems the league is finished for us, still, guess we have our pride to play for, and a win today may provide a lift for everyone. Would be nice to finish the season on fire. (not literally, before some smartass makes a wise crack)

Doni, Aurelio, Maxi, Henderson, Coates, Kuyt, Downing

If you still want to know.

Im confident after seeing their defence, we can really get at that with Carroll, Bellamy & Suarez.

Ah thanks, shame to see Sterling doesn't get on the bench again - even if he doesn't get to play. Ah well... Happy with the line up though, and the bench. <ok>

    Both team line-ups-

    Newcastle v Liverpool (1330 BST)

Newcastle: Krul, Simpson, Williamson, Perch, Gutierrez, Guthrie, Tiote, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Cisse, Ba.
Subs: Elliot, Santon, Gosling, Ryan Taylor, Shola Ameobi, Vuckic, Ferguson.

Liverpool: Reina, Flanagan, Carragher, Skrtel, Jose Enrique, Shelvey, Spearing, Gerrard, Suarez, Carroll, Bellamy.
Subs: Doni, Aurelio, Maxi, Henderson, Coates, Kuyt, Downing.

    Referee: Martin Atkinson (W Yorkshire)

They have a very attacking side - let's hope we can make the most of their defence.

He would have more of an impact off the bench than Maxi imo, but happy with the line up.
