Did you notice his token 'I'm surprised we didn't score more' post-Liverpool match comments? I remember his 'it should have been 10' comment at HT last season, despite only have 3 shots on target.
Just noticed how awful that interviewer is. Is it Jonathan Pearce? I sued to quite like him, but his questions there were absurd.
Everton 2-0 up on Chelsea and Arsenal drawing. WHy do they keep dangling 4th in front of us!!!! Everton are hitting good form, we will need to be on our toes against them!
1-0 Sunderland- Mclean. ****, good results for us, not so much this game we catch up but others we should have got points from.
Suarez on Facebook: Luis Suarez We lost and we are sad because we have made a big effort... Disappointed because everything is not that it seems... Derrota que duele mucho por el gran esfuerzo que hicimos... Decepcionado porque no todo es lo que parece... Translate: We lost and we are sad because we have made a big effort... The whole things just become a huge points scoring opportunity between Utd and Liverpool. If Cantona can be welcomed back into the fold at United after assaulting a fan, but a player refusing to shake the hand of someone who he feels has character assassinated him, needs to be sold, then there are some pretty warped values at work. Someone should have thought about this and just done away with the handshake in advance. Suarez was never going to want to shake Evra's hand today and was to some extent put in an impossible situation. I can't blame him for that and you have to say he handled himself well at the end when Evra was trying to provoke a reaction. I do think Dalglish and the Club has to take some of the blame, Suarez didn't look sharp on Monday or today and could have been left out of the starting line up for playing reasons alone avoiding the whole issue. Also, how could the club send Dalglish out in front of the cameras, without knowledge of what happened at the start of the game? United have generally handled the whole affair more effectively than LFC and the club need to have a long hard look at themselves in this respect. We need to get back to what's important, which is the football. Today LFC failed to match Utd on the pitch and any hopes of top 4 are now starting to slip away. We need to concentrate on a strong finish to this season, to give ourselves the best chance to progress again next year.
FA said before the game that they were going to make them shake hands, unlike their decision they did for QPR and Chelsea.
I think he's right this time about scoring more, but we had a few chances too and weren't good enough. But I do remember the famous 'should have been 10' line. There's hyperbole and then that.
Can't take a bit of truth? Suarez is a gimp, who cannot bare the thought that he actually may have been a bit naughty. Good on Fergie for having the nuts to say what he said.
So is Fergie going to put his money where his mouth is, and sell Rio for refusing a handshake? I mean Rio could have caused a riot and all. Besides it's kind of a funny thing to say from a man who didn't think assaulting a fan or deliberately breaking another player's leg were good enough reasons to get rid of a player. A really odd view on morality if refusing a handshake is worse than that. Could it be he wants Liverpool to sell Suarez for other reasons?
What, so suarez not shaking hands is so bad he should not play for liverpool again that nasty man wont hold my hand. Got anything so say about evra going in with a wild challenge so late that it missed suarez completely and took out ferdinand?
Hope the spuds can do us a favour tonight. I'd usually support Newcastle in that fixture, but a Spurs win would keep the 4th spot hunt on.
