Ah right! Probably should have worked that out a bit earlier... And yeah, I think most of us are bored of the whole Suarez thing. Let's just forget about the Suarez thing for the moment and look forward to tonight's game!
That is what has been bugging me, everyone is staying on the Suarez threads when it is a dead horse and we have a GAME today, FA cup for that matter that we should be discussing. Plus it was Macca talking and when Macca talks I listen! Legend, big big big reason I support Liverpool. One of my heroes growing up.
sorry to the op and others i just skipped straight to the end but, Do we have a Friday/Tuesday run and Man City a Sunday/Tuesday run again or am I away ahead of myself ? Is the first semi on Tuesday? in other words.
Head-To-Head. This is the 30th meeting of the two sides. Liverpool have won 19 of the previous 29, Oldham six, with four drawn. Both clubs were in the Premier League when they last went toe-to-toe in 1993/94; Liverpool won 2-1 at Anfield and 3-0 at Boundary Park. The Latics won the top-flight clash immediately prior to those; 3-2 at home in May 1993. Liverpool hold a 100% record against Oldham in the FA Cup; going through at the first time of asking in the second round in 1907, fourth round in January 1962 and fifth round in February 1977. Liverpool. The seven-times winners, who last lifted the trophy six years ago, are eager to avoid a third successive third round exit. Bolton was the last third tier side to eliminate the Merseyside club; third round, January 1993. Liverpool, who have not lost at home this season, have played exactly 400 matches in FA Cup history, and have lost 100 of them. Oldham Athletic. League One Oldham lie 52 places below Liverpool, and have drawn their last six away matches in league and cup. The three-times semi-finalists who graced the last four most recently 18 years ago, have got past the first round for the first time in four seasons. Their last appearance in the third round was in January 2008, when they knocked out Everton 1-0, courtesy of a Gary McDonald goal.
true I was just wondering because if it was us , or the satanists it'd be all over the news (the whinging)
team news: carragher is not playing as he's not got his hands on a team sheet and given it to his mates to make money betting.. <joke>
Reina, Kelly, Carragher, Coates, Aurelio, Spearing, Maxi, Gerrard, Shelvey, Kuyt, Bellamy. SUBS: Doni, Carroll, Henderson, Downing, Adam, Skrtel, Flanagan. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/gerrard-back-listen-live
Interesting line up actually. Coated, Kelly and the main man fabio! Shelvey and wrecks too. Happy with that.
score a few? i dunno.... my predictions is a broken something for aurelio... carragher to look creaky, coates to look like alan hanson, gerrard to look very tired by half time and kuyt to be absolutely as slow as a cart. heopfully kelly will put serious show on and so will shelvey.
Would have preferred playing Downing so we can say his too tired for the City game Can't believe Stevie is playing, surely should have rested him and Bellamy?
